There has been an inteview with Luca Cumani on ATR where there was NO mention of the filly NOT running in the English 1000.
With the filly now owned by George Strawbridge (same owner as Rainbow View) will they both go there? When did the sale go through?
Zoe Bird says the 10/1 (top price with the bookmakers) could be value. Yet she is over 20/1 with Betfair.

Value Is EverythingMarch 24, 2009 at 16:19 #218154GINGE, i personally think Fantasia has more chance of being an Oaks
filly than a 1000gns sort, A Sadlers wells filly out of a Darshaan mare would not tick my box for a 3yo miler, Ok so her Grand dam was Blue duster a very speedy 2yo, that would be my only hope that she has the speed over a mile.Fantasia struck me as a filly who will excel at 11/4m+
having watched her in the fillies mile at Ascot as a 2yo! Fine prospect
all the same. G Strawbridge would have a fine 1000gns/Oaks double prospect with Rainbow View and Fantasia!March 24, 2009 at 16:46 #218160Simple prediction would be an impressive third-or-fourth catching the eye of bookmakers to promptly slash her price for the Oaks.
There are 3 lengths (?) to be lured in before Fantasia is on level terms with Rainbow View. In the 1,000 Guineas I just can’t see that happening.
P.S. It’s good to be thoroughly active again.
March 24, 2009 at 17:24 #218166I look forward to seeing Fantasia when up in trip, she will excel over 12f and has been my idea of an Oaks horse since she stepped foot on the racecourse. I don’t expect she will go for 1000 Guineas but at this stage i guess they are leaving all options open in case Rainbow View was to have a set back or anything then George Strawbridge would still have Fantasia in the 1000 Guineas.

However, the dam Blue Symphony (won at 1m2f)’s first foal Blue Rhapsody (by Cape Cross) won at 7 furlongs. As you say Blue Duster was speedy winning the Queen Mary and Chieveley Park. Her brother Zeiten won the Middle Park too. Their dam Blue Note also won at up to 7 furlongs. So there is speed further back in the tail female line. Fantasia showed enough speed at two to suggest she’d be effective at 1mile (in her early 3 year old carreer). Fantasia probably will get 1 1/2 miles, but I would not like to train her especially for an Oaks. Remembering what happened to Twice Over last season. When he bypassed his Classic chance in the the Guineas for a Derby campaign.
Though for selfish reasons hope connections choose not to run her at Newmarket.
