Lemons, I transferred your selections here:
I’ve got a few fancies for day 3
1550 Santa Rossa 10-1
1620 Hardline 40-1 ew
1740 Young Dev 11-2Santa Rossa is an interesting one and the trainer is on the scoreboard already.
I backed Hardline at Cheltenham and he did nothing but his back form is good and the stable is much better form now.April 17, 2022 at 22:13 #1594286Here are my selections:
2.05 Celestial Horizon who has decent form
2.40 Icare Allen doubled with Largy Hill at Cork, as he’s so short
3.15 Festival d’Ex with Russell on board
3.50 Whiskey Sour back in good form
Will probably add Gars de Sceaux ew BOG
4.20 Blackbow
5.00 Streets of Doyen ew
5.40 Opposites Attract ew
6.10 Johnny Cigar ew- has some nice bumper formApril 17, 2022 at 22:49 #1594288Santa rossa is a great bet imo
Think she is very talented and getting 12lb from most of the field has a huge chance 10/1 4 places no brainer
April 18, 2022 at 01:41 #15943051315 – Put up Better Times Ahead as one to follow a few months back, and completely managed to miss him when he won. He should improve again, but won’t be betting him at current price. No bet as I also like Marvel Fan and Mighty Meggsie.
1515 – Decimation looked an underrated type here last year, and ran very well. Quiet enough campaign, but after fluffing his lines at Cheltenham, I’d expect him to be bang there today. Took 10’s. I’d expect him to run very well here before building to bigger things next term.
De Name Escapes Me is a horse I’ve followed for a while now, and been some good days. None of those good days were this year though, and he’s cost me this year. He’s definitely got one more race in in him, and he’ll be bet too. Hoping that Scoir Mear doesn’t get in.
1550 – Love Thedevilscoachman, and another I managed to miss when he won. Should be hard to beat here. Santa Rossa and Whiskey Sour look big dangers
This season has been a non event for Gars De Sceaux, but on what I seen last year, I’ll take 30’s EW 4pls, just in case.
1620 – No bet, but will rooting for Janidil
1740 – Camera angle was desperate, but his unseat in The Ulster National appeared to bring half the field to a halt. If his jumping improves, he’s a mad old price at 40’s. Won’t bother backing him EW. If he’s in contention I’ll just take my stake back in running
April 18, 2022 at 16:39 #1594422Praying for Blackbow after that horrific fall but it really didn’t look good.
Just a few minutes after Golden Boy Grey broke down at Plumpton.
Both right in front of the stands.
I feel a bit sick.
