Just watched most of the races back and penciled down a few that caught my eye
Hardwicke stakes- hamish, got outpaced then flew home, needs further
Queen Anne- mohaather, got absolutely no run
Silver wokingham- blue mist, got no run at all
Holyroodhouse- dancinin in the street, flew home to finish third
Royal hunt cup- lord tennyson, frankie got stuck behind a wall of horses and gave him an easy race
And perhaps the biggest eye catcherfor me
Windsor castle- Yazaman, got taken off his feet at the start before flying home. Upped in trip next time or just with the benefit of more experience hopefully he will win.
Any more I have missed and should be adding to the tracker?
June 21, 2020 at 07:11 #1491548Not sure she warrants adding to your tracker but Mother Earth got into all sorts of trouble in the Albany & is worth another try
June 21, 2020 at 11:20 #1491563Hi FinalFurlong91

June 21, 2020 at 13:42 #1491576Two runners caught my eye both from Friday’s card.
In the opening handicap ART POWER cruised through this registering good comparable numbers with my second GOLDEN HORDE who for me bossed his rivals in the Commonwealth Cup.Clive Cox’s sprinter can be expected to go for all the big sprints while Art Power will I think be taking in lesser company next in Listed/Gp 3 class but don’t be fooled this is a very serious horse Easterby has to go to war with and don’t be surprised if he turns up on Champions Day at Ascot. One thing that I’m unsure of as yet regards his best trip, having run well over 5f & 6f it’s very much open to debate.
good luck to allJune 21, 2020 at 14:01 #1491578Queen Mary – Sands Of Time. Backed in from 16s to 10s. Saddle slipped in the race. Worth another try to prove herself in that company. May be big odds next time.
June 21, 2020 at 14:48 #1491580Ebury ran very well from a group of 4 on the far side beaten just over 5L in the Buckingham Palace Handicap which opened the whole meeting on Tuesday. Didn’t have anything to take him into the race and having already won over a mile dropping back to 7F with no pace didn’t help. This was just his 3rd handicap start for Martyn Meade, his 2nd run since being gelded and I can see him playing a big part in the valuable mile handicaps this season and he may even get 10F being out of a Galileo mare.
Another one who wasn’t unlucky as such but appears to be a progressive filly in the sprinting division was Burmese Waltz for Archie Watson. She moved over from Ger Lyons this year and already won a fillies handicap at Kempton before running a huge race against the boys in the Silver Wokingham. There might be a handicap in her but if not she shouldn’t have any problems gaining minor black type at Listed/Group 3 level against her own sex.
The King George V Stakes handicap – loved the whole race think it’ll be very strong form going forwards and a couple caught my eye for various reasons – Subjectivist, Group One Power and Bodyline. The winner Hukum is being aimed at the Gordon Stakes and Great Voltigeur going forwards so literally a group horse in the handicap if those aspirations are to be fulfilled.
June 22, 2020 at 13:42 #1491619FF, I agree with Dancin Inthestreet, very promising run that.
TTM, I’ll have to watch Ebury again, as I must have missed him when I was watching mine. He’s on my radar for this season, and again like you, think he’s got one of the big Mile Handicaps in him.
I was also very impressed with Subjectivist, looks a winner waiting to happen
Apart from Dancin Inthestreet and Subjectivist, others I took from the meeting were……
Huboor
Setarhe
Grammata
Gulliver
Its’afreebeeall for various reasons, and for various targets.
June 22, 2020 at 16:06 #1491637TTM, just watched Ebury back, and agree even more now. He was an early fancy of mine for both The Hunt Cup and The Lincoln. Hopefully he can do the business this year, and I think you’re right about stepping him up.
June 23, 2020 at 11:00 #1491682I agree with Dancin Inthestreet + Ebury, having backed them both i did notice they both ran eye catching and well given their circumstances.
Mohican Heights ran a belter for me. I don’t know where he goes next, but i will probably back anyway. Trainer has made a slow enough start, and he’s stayed on very nicely. Derby or St Leger? He’d have to improve no-end, but given the trainer he’s probably as likely as any to take a good step forward NTO.
Ventura Rebel was not good enough for Golden Horde at all, but i expect him to improve on that run again, he needs to be quicker away to begin with.
Waliyak for me was much the best in the Sandringham.
