Hayley Turner any day! she’s just stunning.
Yeah I fancy her even more now, Barshiba! What a ride
Emma Spencer is so much prettier than Hayley Turner, shouldn’t compare the two.
Barshiba though is awesome. Blind in one eye, battles on even when she’s come back to the field. Won 3 times for me at 3-5’s over the years and an each way at 25’s 2 weeks back. She is my favourite horse, always give you a run especially on good to firm and yes Turner rode her well today for her first group 2, congrats

Oh unbelievable courage, thought she was beat 2/3 out but kept finding and shouted the roof down, scaring my poor cats when she held on, was delighted. The cats were treated tonight aswell to some chicken and cheese whiskas treats!

July 3, 2010 at 22:54 #304487Yes, I agree, Emma Spencer looked kinda phwoarrrrrr!
July 4, 2010 at 02:12 #304499July 4, 2010 at 08:10 #304510Jim McGrath wound me up earlier. By all means disagree with Big Mac (still can’t spell his name) but don’t just dismiss it out of hand. Fillies don’t do especially well in the Eclipse. It’s a point worth making surely.
Similar to Michael Stoute just laughing when Bob Cooper put it to him prior to The Derby that horses beaten in the Dante don’t win The Derby it got the response it deserved.
Just how many fillies/mares do people expect to run well in the Eclipse? Kooyonga & Pebbles won it and I just randomly looked at 4 runnings of the race recently and there wasn’t a female runner amongst them.
I’d be interested to know how people expect fillies/mares to do well in the race if none/few run.July 4, 2010 at 13:02 #304581Hayley Turner, Emma Spencer I wouldn’t say no to either of them
Jim McGrath’s attitude on the Morning Line was nothing short of pompous. I’ve not been keen on his arrogant attitude for some time now.

I think I’d have Katie Milkshake these days.
I can’t actually spell her real name & after Thommo called it her at Pontefract, it stuck in my mind.On an unreleated note, Thommo is the regular caller at Pontefract. And a good job he does too.
