    Just spotted this thread and thought i would add my feelings of gratitude to an amazing horse.

    Truth be known, he actually cost me a few bob over the years but that was my fault for underestimating his drive and love of the game.

    Its rare im sentimental about a horse but i feel an element of sadness that ED isnt able to enjoy this years festival.

    oh dawnie you have made the tears roll , i was never a great fan of exotic dancer betting wise, but he was such an honest horse and will always be remembered .

    He was the horse most missed from the big festivals this spring. Would have shown that lot a clean pair of hooves in the Bowl!

    Wierdest thing I just mentioned him on another part of the forum. He was agreat servant who was unlucky to be around at the same time as Kauto Star…..I often wonder just how many Gold Cup’s he could have one if he hadn’t had so many hard races against the great horse.

    Sadly missed at Jackdaw and by all.
