Dr Marwan’s interview with the ridiculous Cattermole. Marwan tips up Kiama Bay at 25/1 but 50/1 Good Morning Star in the next race is not mentioned. Cattermole apologised later for not bringing it up because he thought it had no chance, even though the owner had expressly asked for it to be entered. Love it all to death! I’ll be there tomorrow with me mug money to keep it all financed. Hooray!
May 9, 2012 at 14:42 #403648To be fair Paul, after the race the good Doctor did say it was his "only social runner of the week". So Good job Mike didn’t ask; had he done so the answer would’ve probably been seen as
putting punters/viewers away
.

Value Is EverythingMay 12, 2012 at 14:28 #403992On the subject of Channel 4 coverage, anyone know the name of the song played during their Victoria Cup preview?
May 12, 2012 at 14:34 #403995thm, if it’s the tune they used just before the off, it’s Lonely Boy, by The Black Keys.
May 12, 2012 at 14:52 #403997That’s the one Venture, thanks!
May 13, 2012 at 11:34 #404052At least Ch 4 highlighted the Koukash runners as ones to follow at this meeting. I reckon if you backed all of them blind you’d still have made a profit overall. And John Francome did pick out the filly before the race. Unfortunately everyone will now be watching the Koukash horses at Chester.
