It won’t be the first time. Rebel Morrow, one of Australia’s all-time Equestrian greats, was an ex-racer saved from the slaughterhouse.

Many of the horses I backed would be great for three day eventing. Given that it took them three days to reach the winning post in the races I backed them in.

Torrance Fleischmann’s Finvarra was an ex-racehorse, and Joy of My Heart, who went to Sidney for Ireland was an ex-pointer by Strong Gale. I don’t think he ever went to the Olympics, but Badminton winner Moonfleet was another ex pointer by Strong Gale.
