Yes same, I don’t knowingly listen to any of them or take any interest in the semis.

There were a few decent ones but I can’t say anything stood out. All rather uneventful so far, at least inside the arena.

I decided 4/9 Ireland for top 10 was the play. A few other top 3 and top 10 multiples were tempting but I’ll go heavier on the one bet, f-t it’s once a year.

Well done. It was a real grower, that song. I’ll listen to France again and try to like it….I’m glad the UK got no points in the public vote. I’m no prude but I found the performance totally distasteful.

The Swiss have always been known for their neutrality, perhaps it’s a good thing they won. In second Croatia, also not at war with anyone. All about the politics eh? As I’ve said before, it plays a part but it’s not everything.

As for the UK, I think it is was more a combination of a bland song and sleazy presentation that sealed its fate.

The Blob tried to gatecrash his winning entry – a catchy number cleverly named

– however the word Bomber from Basingstoke had failed to factor in the presence of an armed retaliatory group, namely, The National Residential Landlords Association who got prior wind of his entry and were armed with batons and writs at the entrance. Once again the Blob was hospitalised !
