Thanks Ginge..agree with your laying Arrest sweating a river at the moment.
I’m really hoping for a big run from Waipiro and Miltary Order to win pulling away ..but still worried about Auguste Rodin . We’ll find out in a minute..great race this year.. :good:

Have now laid Sprewell back to be just a saver – as he’s sweating up.

Amazing training performance to get that back from the 2,000 Guineas shocker, cope with the changed Derby Day routine and go and win.

I think people often fawn over him excessively – he gets great material to work with – but that’s the best thing the bloke’s ever done.

Runner up has run an absolute screamer considering it was his first run of the year and only the third of his life – I think had the jockey realised he would quicken like that he may have held onto a bit longer as the winner has just outstayed him….congrats to those that kept the faith.

I’m speechless. What a confident ride from Moore again. And so many confident words from AP. Didn’t have a single penny on them, but hats off…

Agree Ruby. That is why Coolmore pay for Moore. An outstanding ride – but a very good ride from Kevin Stott on the runner up as well.

I backed Auguste Rodin for the St Leger as well as the Derby. He would be a certainty if he lined up but of course he won’t.

White Birch ran remarkably well for a horse that looked like he had boiled over beforehand.

Wd mike, id have laid it back sitting on the price you had

Sprewell was a bit hard done by not getting out atall, was a poor positional ride he should have seen that 6f out, wouldnt have won but would have been alot closwr

    And again

You can have all the “value” in the world, but if you dont pick the winner…

Don’t usually get emotional about Coolmore winners because they have so many but he reminds me so much of his grand sire, my beloved Sunday Silence! And I’m so relieved there was no trouble from protesters.
