Was it really such a passion for the running of the horses or something more in the way of aggrandizement, for himself, his family and his mighty empire of money and power?
I believe he refuses to use the services of Coolmore stallions. Does this petulance exemplify the above?

Do you think the refusal to use Coolmore maybe stems back to the Green Monkey? I don’t suppose Sheik Mo is used to being outbid!
April 27, 2013 at 23:19 #437686I find it revealing how swiftly this has all happened. How can they be sure there isn’t a wider problem? This has all been done at breakneck speed so that it can be forgotten about by the wider public.

Every time he tried to buy into the bloodline through the back door he had to leave his purchase in the garden to blossom.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 28, 2013 at 09:24 #437706He is a river to his people – and to GB racing:
Hideous fawning stuff. Ridiculous.

April 28, 2013 at 13:16 #437735Just watched the video above. He refers to "my people" like he owned them, the people of Dubai. Not the builders or the construction workers. Unlike the people from other countries who are allowed to build their foster countries and become citizens. In Dubai such people never become "my people".He says nothing about human rights or women. He routinely brings his youngest wife to Ascot while his other wives are left at home.Unlike the rest of us he lives from his inheritance and plans a future for himself and his world view in Dubai.Perhaps he thought he could bring that same view to GB? Does anyone else remember why he left Sir Henry’s yard?
April 28, 2013 at 16:06 #437748I read in the NYT the following "Zarooni also had a fractious relationship with Godolphin’s top jockey, Frankie Dettori, who is said to have objected to training practices that he considered too harsh and has left the stable".I know he left but otherwise..
