What is the ‘traverse law’ in physics? Google draws a blank
Presumably ‘free energy’ is one of the Free Energies (Gibbs or Helmholtz) that occur in the Laws of Thermodynamics, which I don’t pretend to understand
Feel free to ignore if an explanation runs the risk of soiling your nest; that is, ruining your – apparently very esoteric – edge
Genuinely interested

Flanders and Swann explained them:

Flanders & Swann were an amusing duo

It’s off the map and conventional science dismisses anything other than convention which is where Tesla fell foul of traditional thinking and the traditionalists which of course always proves not to be the case eventually.

—————–
…Is something often said when there are no scientific grounds to support the theory.
There is only “science”, Sam.
Anything else isn’t science.Value Is EverythingNovember 4, 2023 at 17:31 #1669273Define science
Define convention
Define conventional science
Define define
You can’t, other than you and others before you have been told
Time and time again conventional thinking and accepted schools of thought and history for that matter turns out to be incorrect and based on perception understood and accepted as fact chapter and verse until disproved and replaced with new wisdom or discovery.November 4, 2023 at 18:40 #1669290Science always has the best theory until science comes along and disproves it, Sam.
That’s what science is.
Science disproving science still has science coming out on top.Value Is EverythingNovember 4, 2023 at 19:07 #1669299What is science Gingertipster?
Can you define it?
I prefer to have an open mind regards accepting everything presented to me as factual….Einstein on science
Tesla on science
Politicians on science
Scientists on science
Atheists on science
Pagans on science
Religious people on science
Conventionists on science
Non conventionists on science
All have different takes on science
Are any of them right?
Surely there is more to be discovered than is known?November 4, 2023 at 21:06 #16693362110
I’m happy to use the breeders cup here and stick my neck out and identify two horses who may run well one of them because of free energy from two distinct sources.
Idiomatic and clairiere have similar chances but the massive amounts of free energy heading to the stall of idiomatic swings it in her favour.
Idiomatic
Win
Clairiere
Each way
Clairiere has been touched off in this race twice losing by a nose. chance remains but will elude again unless bull is grabbed by the horns here and it is not out of the question at all.November 4, 2023 at 21:09 #1669338Same two as me Sam…

Charles Darwin to conquer the World
November 4, 2023 at 21:35 #1669344Sam,
You’re the one who started talking about “Traverse Law” and “Free Energy”
Saying:
“it’s impossible to say which horse receives positive or negative energy both have to be considered”…
And also claim
“I know (believe) these hidden reserves to be the free energy that is factored into every race and generated by every horse. Like all belief systems known to man, if you believe in them strongly enough, you find to a way to make them work…… ….”.
And
Even claiming it’s unconventional “science”.
And
“it’s off the map”.Yet haven’t explained any of it.
Fair enough if you don’t want to.Science can be many things, but I can tell you what science is not, Sam… And that’s the unexplained.
Value Is EverythingNovember 4, 2023 at 21:51 #1669346No wonder Aidan O’Brien was happy to do the popes bidding last night as it gave his runners a huge advantage.
same story tonight with the absence of both runners either side.

Auguste Rodin

November 4, 2023 at 21:59 #1669351for exactly the same reasons stable mste
BROOME
each way
has an outstanding chance if not sacrificing advantage by pacesetting here.

Gingertipster I love you mate.
You could get into an argument with yourself in a bloody phone box.
(and still lose!!)I don’t claim to understand it because I don’t. But what I do know that something happens. I’ve identified that something happens and rather than write about it after it has happened and claim that something happened, I’m saying before the event that this ‘may well happen’and the last two races it has. In fact all my selections ‘made tonight’ have featured a winner or a placed horse in each race and ALL have been ALEXANDER selections.

When there is a non-runner the other runners are moved one stall across, Sam.
There were horses on both stalls immediately next to Auguste Rodin.
ie Rodin was in stall 5 which – with 4 and 6 non-runners – ended up between stalls 3 and 7.Value Is Everything - AuthorPosts
