Usually have a handful I like for this, but if being honest, just a little underwhelmed by the entries this year.
Main interest right now is Dawn Rising. Down a couple of pounds, and I’m fair tempted by the 33’s. Holding off just now though, as he didn’t take up his entry on this last year, in favour of The Curragh, and he’s got that option again. No option but to wait.
He’s getting on a bit, but the other one I like is Not So Sleepy, also at 33’s. Think I’ve only ever bet him once before, but just appeals to me here off his last run at Epsom
I’ll definitely bet one of them, possibly both, but holding fire for now.

Not So SleepyAt 25s and 33s Hibop de Loire and Pontier for Mullins interest me EW , both ex Polish trained , had some German and Spanish runs . Both gone well over hurdles on Debut for yard in past week or two so he has them in good nick.

Good luck VF, you’ll need it as these are my selections too. Wasn’t convinced by any of these so went for the form frankage angle with the horse that split them both last time winning at York earlier today.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Two each-way selections.
Fairbanks is steadily progressive and looks the right type for this race.
Onesmoothoperator has ‘operated’ mainly artificial surfaces, but they might influence his price. I’ll take a chance that the form transfer, which it does more often than some appreciate.
If they are dipping out I’ll be cheering on Wise Eagle for Adam Nicol!

Consistently runs big race- doesn’t win them often but he’s not that badly handicapped still.

Wise Eagle. Doesn’t know he’s the outsider and has the heart of a lion. Not to be discounted if he’s staying on at the end.
