But of fun just wanted to see which horses people think are a cert to place not necessarily win. In a big accumaltor don’t care how many selections but with some of the prices around at the moment getting 5/6 horses to place would be big returns

January 29, 2017 at 22:19 #1284660All of these have strong place claims IMO providing they make it there safe and sound:
Whisper – JLT 10/1
Uxizandre – Ryanair 10/1
Alpha Des Obeaux – RSA 16/1
Traffic Fluide – Chanpion Chase 33/1
Cross Country – Ballyboker Bridge 25/1
Ultima – Cause of Causes 16/1
Neptune – Perrigrine Run 25/1January 29, 2017 at 22:21 #1284661Uxizandre ran a superb race on Sat for a horse thats not been seen for 2 years – probably on ground thats too soft for it too
January 29, 2017 at 22:23 #1284662That’s with betfair sportsbook just read apparently ante post bets have a max payout of £100k but on the day betting is £1million. Worth noting that most bookies have a lower max payout for antepost bets.
However bet365 do £1million max for antepostJanuary 29, 2017 at 22:24 #1284663I wonder what they pays on just the place part Charlie!

January 29, 2017 at 22:28 #1284665Thanks for that jaymo I may have a flutter with them!
And Charlie those in £10 each way Acca I reckon is £67k for the place but is it 1/5 or 1/4 oddsJanuary 29, 2017 at 22:38 #1284671I wonder what they pays on just the place part Charlie!
According to the calculator I just used online, £5 EW on that 7 fold returns £217,000 for all placed at 1/5 on a place
January 29, 2017 at 22:41 #1284672Wow surely have to do it now Charlie! Haha
Mine was based on betfair at 1/5 odds
Just tried it on bet365 at 1/4
Came out £3million for win pet
£3500 for place part!
Will be doing it on there for sure since they won’t all win and the place is £1000 more! And even if they did all win I only get £100k on betfair hahaJanuary 29, 2017 at 23:32 #1284685Alpha Des Obeaux is 4/1 to place
Utter madness
Best bet in a long time
