I very much enjoy gamble’s postings, but I’m no great fan of this practice either.
Threads drop away for a reason – no one’s interested.

What used to make me laugh on another forum was when someone called themselves say “grey”. others would address them by their real name, “Arthur” say. (I had another name for the ****)
Just to let the rest of us know…

But I loved winding up by addressing posts to “Doris” or “Archibald” or Kylie” and no one would know who the **** I was referring to.
