SENOR BUSCADOR 8/1
Surely has to go off a lot shorter on the night, barring accident he will be there and I don’t really mind what draw he gets as he’ll be coming from the back anyway.
Funnily enough he has never won over the distance of 10 furlongs but that doesn’t look a problem to me based on previous efforts at the trip.
He’s come into his own now and the iron is hot. Connections have had to be patient with this one after sustaining a bad injury early on in his career but they are making hay with him now.
It doesn’t look that deep a race either although I certainly respect the chances of late swooping USHBA TESORO (only 3-1 best price) the progressive KABIRKHAN (5-1) and recent grade 1 victor NEWGRANGE (14-1)March 30, 2024 at 02:58 #1688610I don’t know quite how good Kabirkhan is, but he really impressed me in the G1 Al Maktoum Challenge last time out.
Only one winner has come out of the race, but he did look a couple of levels higher than the rest of the field that day and Doug Watson and Pat Dobbs would have a better indication of what they have now.
March 30, 2024 at 10:55 #1688638Ushba Tesoro ew 4 places
March 30, 2024 at 12:20 #1688666Couple of ews on Siskany and Sober in the Gold Cup next.
March 30, 2024 at 16:06 #1688706What were those jockeys doing at the back off a slow gallop??
Regardless, looks like we got got 2000g and King George Auguste today
Also split screen with 3:55 Fairyhouse
March 30, 2024 at 16:11 #1688707Aguste Rodin was the last leg of a 4 fold for me. Cost me a few grand.
Once again, O’Brien fails to get a horse fit without a prep run.
And what the hell were the likes, of Shoemark, Moore and Kawada doing on the favourites anyway.
I’m not a fan of Buick but he gave the winner a great ride. He was fit and ready.
March 30, 2024 at 16:19 #1688711That was like watching a amateurs race at Wolverhampton on a November Sat night ….
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

The whole meeting is free on Youtube today.
The coverage on RacingTv has been shocking. They didn’t even show a few of the races live.

It’s been a rushed mess today, Meydan should’ve stayed on the Sky Sports Racing channel.
March 30, 2024 at 16:44 #1688717Mike – thing is even SSR have split screen issues but as bad as it was, just imagine how it would have been had Musselburgh not been abandoned.
To be fair I am not a massive fan of Meydan racing in general (more so when they went to dirt to pander to the Yanks) – I do watch some of the turf races but they have thrown up odds results over the years that don’t always translate to the rest of the European turf season. Their meetings don’t excite me even half way to the level that Angus McNae goes on about (apparently the best meeting in the world to him).
World Cup currently on split screen with 4:40 at Cork
March 30, 2024 at 18:34 #1688727The actual World Cup race has got to be the most mundane Group 1 of the year and I really don’t care who wins.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 31, 2024 at 09:48 #1688754With it not being on sky sports and only a couple of early ones on itv it’s been skipped by by the mainstream media. Now we’ll behind breeders Cup in relevance. If aiden hadn’t sent a few I doubt I’d be interested at all. The Japanese obviously targeting it.
