January 28, 2010 at 18:07 #272561Was just looking at the Arkle Betting today and noticed that Zaarito has been taken out of some bookies lists.
Interesting to see if he runs in this.
Has anybody seen any news of Zaarito after his fall last time out.

January 28, 2010 at 19:01 #272574Weapon’s Amnesty, Shirley?
January 28, 2010 at 19:32 #272578Slower than Robinho driving to a winter day’s training that one mon ami
January 28, 2010 at 22:26 #272617Erm, I thought you chaps had concluded that Cousin Vinny can’t jump at racing pace, or am I getting him mixed up with another horse?
January 28, 2010 at 22:31 #272619I’m quite hopeful my R&SA pick at colossal odds – Apt Approach – can show decent improvement from his run last time out and get a bit closer to Roberto Goldback. I reckon on better ground he’ll have a great shout, but only hopeful mind you.

f21-f 10 Zaarito (CAMurphy) – . …………………Doesn’t look half the race it was last year when the subsequent RSA winner got up to beat the Arkle winner with Tranquil Sea, Rare Bob and Trafford Lad in behind.
I’d want to be against Weapons Amnesty at this trip. If Zaarito gets around he’ll be tough to beat but Roberto Goldback sets the standard after his win the last day.
February 2, 2010 at 13:26 #273598Can’t see a potential RSA winner in that field…..

No Mikaels not running in this either! Not looking good!
February 2, 2010 at 15:25 #273618Weapon’s Amnesty will be there-abouts in the RSA, and if Roberto Goldbacks travels to Cheltenham I feel he’ll have a great shout.
February 2, 2010 at 16:52 #273631Nicanor hhmmmmmmm
Had he any decent form on soft going before his injury, anybody?
February 3, 2010 at 18:37 #273818Roberto Goldback. Will win this race and has a decent chance in the RSA Chase
February 3, 2010 at 19:12 #273821Why isn’t Roberto Goldback quoted on BF for RSA?
February 3, 2010 at 20:50 #273847He isn’t entered. Far better off staying at home for the Powers Gold Cup anyway where he’ll probably only have Zaarito to beat unless Cousin Vinny gets his act together.
He would be too high in the weights for the Jewson presumably.
February 3, 2010 at 22:15 #273860Thanks, that explains it! Must say I had this on a Sun Alliance shortlist, but we’re coming over for the weekend so at least will have a chance to see him.
Have Lenabane as a slogger who could run well stepped up to 3m. Possibly not the class to win the RSA but could place at a decent price. Probably go for 4 miler or Irish National…..
