I have compiled a top 10 list of most delusional fans in Britian.
1) Manchester City
2) West Ham
3) Birmingham City
4) Newcastle
5) Any England supporter
6) Wolverhampton Wanderers
7) Evertonians
8 SunderlandA very pleasing list.
Hate to tell you this Alchemist but you say its a list of the top 10 but theirs only 8 teams up there, and Manchester United fans are a glaring ommision imo but i am a Liverpudlian
January 17, 2008 at 16:09 #135995Sorry Gaz

I feel a bit like Trigger now, I’ve been calling you Gav for ages and that’s not even your name. Mind you, there is a big clue in your username like – but my excuse is that you used to be Kauto Star

January 17, 2008 at 16:20 #135999It must be love…come on fella’s I can tell!!! a thread on here and one on General Sports, and all with the same people on about Keegan…if only I was half as popular

Only ever seen him once, on BBC years ago at Newbury with Channon, shouting a horse home. Apart from that I have no awareness of this gentleman and judging from comments above – ignorance is bliss
January 17, 2008 at 16:38 #136004Good spot Danny

8 SunderlandAlchemist, with all the greatest of respect – and I’m sure Moehat and Betlarge will confirm – Nottingham Forest supporters live in a completely different reality to everyone else. Most of them suffer delusions of grandeur which make Newcastle supporters look positively grounded.
In their strange world, they still dominate Europe, are as big as Barcelona and are the best supported club in the world. Ultimate victory is always only a season away and it is a tragedy akin to the eruption of Krakatoa that they are not romping away with the Premiership.
Bunch of t**ts, in a sentence. Please add to your list.
