Well Nathan you have satisfied our ears on such a number of levels and sometimes the memory grows dim over exact detail, however, Billion Mr E, and Ginge all played true to form in your accurately documented Goodfellas reminisces.

Of course Oh So Sharp was at Warren Place and it was the Kentucky Kid (Steve Cauthen) not the choirboy who stole our forum clock and ratcheted it five hours forward to steal our hearts on the groundbreaking filly. The fact that we now learn the triple crowner was a six foot shaver with shades and a liggttt fourteen and a half stone biped frame and had time to share a swig of Beefeater with Steve down the back straight, is all part of the magical nystery you have helped unlock. The kid learned his timing on the US dirt tracks and perched his *rse as deftly and high as Wally but was just amazin’ with the second hand and the King could not have put it better – “What the Sex Pistols were to pop music the Kid was to horseracing” They both enhanced Country life with the broadest of smiles and pockets !

The Ante Post King was a legend in his own right of course and knows best how to play tbe field. There were a tryptich of Oh So Sharp posts and Kingy alludes to the colourfully hot Lake filled one – now sadly parched to the bone and lost in the shifting sands of glorious bloody bedevilment.

Will always remain the greatest of wheezes though, whether lost in space, mind, or reason ?

TAPK reigned supreme on here for over 5 yrs..In several guises..I could argue with myself at times but there was always someone lacking in humour that bit my carrot..I was King once but only at fishing, I could cast my rod and rarely was left with a worm. The King of foresight was always in touch with his feminine side and in this trans lucid world of gender realignement I was ‘Oh so sharp’ the most well proportioned filly I ever did see..She allowed my devilment to play on the vulnerable. What I had in confidence though I lacked in the articulate skills of Gambles..Nobody uses the English language to paint Picasso like you do Sir..I tip my crown to you. :rose:
