    Where will Gaelic Warrior line up at Cheltenham?
    Ballymore seems to be the general consensus but Willie is known for throwing a spanner in the works.
    Albert Bartlett surely is out of the question with Gaelic Warrior only running at the minimum and entered in the betfair hurdle. With Facile Vega seemingly nailed on for the Supreme you’d think Ballymore but Mullins has a host of other horses with top ability to place will have multiple runners in all the graded races, you’d think.

    While we are at it lets see who can nail this lots destination?

    He’s too high to be running in a handicap

    Given his preference for going right handed my feeling is he gets beat at Cheltenham, then wins at punchestown

    I think so too but he’s fav for all of them
    What happens if he loses by 10 or lengths in the betfair, presuming he runs in it
    would his mark drop to a more appealing one?

    Can’t see him running in it off 149 personally natha

    Wouldn’t touch him with a bargepole in a competitive handicap off that mark going left handed

    I’d be interested if it was right handed

    He reminds me a little of getabird, obvious ability but question marks left handed

    Impossible to try and 2nd guess isn’t it.

    I actually think the best thing they could do with Gaelic Warrior would be to run him in the betfair to get a proper gauge on him against horses with a pulse.

    I tend to agree with FF. Couldn’t touch him for any festival race with his tendency to go out to the right.

    Given Mullins embarrassment of riches, it wouldn’t surprise me if he went Betfair Hurdle (left handed but not such an issue at Newbury) then on to Punchestown for a graded race if he continues to go markedly left at his hurdles.

    Gaelic Warrior entered in the Dublin Racing Festival in 2 mile races only
    Either Mullins knows he stays or maybe he won’t be going for the Ballymore?

    Or maybe Mullins wants to ensure the horse is fresh for the festival so wants to run him over the minimum, while still giving him more experience?

    That’s my hope anyway!
