Nube Negra for me too at 10-3. He’s a regular of mine, and I think that he can get closer to the fav here

I’ll join HDLG and Lemons on Nube Negra, freshness might give him the edge

I’ll have a tricast for a little fun with Edwardstone beating Nube Negra and Funambule Sivola in any order.

Edwardstone is the real deal and doesn’t seem to get nearly enough respect. The Arkle he won is starting to look a lot better now.

Chezza VERY relieved he didn’t bet the odds on (rarely does tbf) – dodged a bullet there!

Looks like Edwardstone is ok, but that’s a slight worry going forwards.

    Chicken dinner for VtC tonight.

Never seen a loose horse sprint through the field to the front as fast as that- Edwardstone really wants to win!

Has everything run below par apart from the winner, or is it a good performance?

If Edwardstone beat OR 165 Nube Negra 13 lengths, I think he’d be getting rave reviews – no one would be saying he’d run below par.

The riderless Edwardstone has still galloped two miles, pinged every remaining fence and “won” comfortably.

Seeing that he’s normally such a reliable and accurate jumper, I’m more than happy to forgive him today’s blip.
