I have been thinking for a little while that the spirit of the forum is maybe compromised by my offering my own tips, etc (particularly in a commercial manner) under the TRF banner/brand.
I’m also conscious that when using the TRF twitter account I am voicing my own opinions using the TRF voice.

So…I’ve set up a separate website, facebook and twitter account under my own names which I’ll use for my own ‘racing stuff’ and I’ll use the TRF accounts for TRF promo and for occasional photos, racing news, etc.

    website – http://www.davidcormack.co.uk

Thanks for the links Corm but never hesitate to post what you want in your house! I’m just grateful for being allowed on the ride.

You’re only giving an opinion, David.
    I see no compromise there.
    Put it all on TRF.

I’m not going Jac – you’re stuck with me.

It’s really just that I don’t think TRF should become known to the outside world as a ‘tipping site’ – I’m conscious I’ve used it as a vehicle for my own tipping and I’d rather promote TRF as the community-based site it is and keep my own tipping, etc, separate.
Also, on things like the whip controversy, I’ve been criticised in the past on social media for using the TRF brand to promote views and align the site behind an opinion that not many on TRF would necessarily agree with (as an example).

Not a big thing, just creating a bit of separation on the two topics above.

    David,

All the best with your venture. Nice site as well, not
    too cluttered like some.

As an aside, there is a new book in the pipe-line on the eccentric Dorothy Paget,
due around 3/3/17. I suspect you may give us one of your reviews in the near future.

    Take care,

    Dave

    David

Best of luck going forward with your offshoot venture.

I will of course reserve the right to take the p*** mercilessly on your visits to Kelso, or grudgingly acknowledge your success should you get lucky!

    What does demarcation mean?

If Gingertipster ever has to be forcibly removed from somewhere, that’s deMarkation, I know that much!

I think it means a line that has been marked as a boundary, or something
