Huge fan of Wodhooh, and if she was going, she’s some price, while although I cashed out what I could on Irancy for Cheltenham, he still remains of interest for later in season.

Decided though to have a bet on Winter Fog, who’s let me down three times. Only The Cesarewitch bet mattered, but still, I realise that it’s still a fair losing streak, as she rises twelve.

Won’t be betting anything else, so might as well bet her now

    Edit – took 125’s

She? Has Winter Fog become one of those old queens who now identify as female? 🤔

Lossiemouth too short, Brighterdaysahead already had two starts last season before she ran at Leopardstown, I’ll stick with the form horse Wodhooh at 6/1 WIN only.

Lossie for me, I put her in a treble with Wodhooh and Spindleberry to make the price more exciting

Most interesting runner for me today is Brighterdaysahead. I think her massive performance in this last year took so much out of her it soured her, certainly for the rest of the season. You never know if they are over it till they’re back racing.

Brighterdaysahead looked much more her old self through the race and was encouraging in the finish in that she was making ground without really putting her head down and committing. Might reverse the result next time.

I think that was a better performance than it looked from Lossiemouth, even though the 2nd has run a blinder on her return.

Anzadam pulling his way to the front and going clear like that mid race threw a right spanner in the works for Lossiemouth, as she had to use up quite a bit of petrol to go and close down the gap he built up and that is where Jack Kennedy rode a great tactical race in letting Lossiemouth do the donkey work which meant he could draft in behind her and that is why she was able to get a s close as she did.

I am not sure the leading/sitting handy suits Lossiemouth as I think they would prefer to drop her in of a strong gallop but whether we get that at Cheltenham is rather doubtful.

She got the job done but would she have beaten a Brighterdaysahead with a prep. I’m not so sure.

Anzadam caught the eye but my God stop putting that clown on top class horses.

Sir Gino will be really hard to beat in the Champion but other than that, I’d take Lossie on with The New Lion. Brighterdaysahead much like Apples Jade, saves her best for home soil.

Anzadam already proving something of a ‘character’.

I don’t think she gets near Sir Gino over 2 miles

Anzadam probably needs a shrink or to be buried in a big field 2m County Hurdle where they go made fast – can’t blame Patrick for getting carted like that, the horse settled fine early on but then just decided to go and Patrick was a passenger after that.

Incredibly, Anzadam on the RaceIQ metrics has come in 1st on the Jump Index, 1st on Lengths Gained Jumping, 1st on Entry Speed and 1st on the least Speed Lost.

Clearly a very talented horse but they need to find a way to harness it all and channel it into the right part of the race.

Or alternatively, Race IQ is a load of (insert suitable derogatory term here).
