Ties will be over two legs – home and away – with your aggregate 4pp score over the two weeks counting towards your score. In the event of a draw AWAY POINTS COUNT DOUBLE. If that fails to settle it then the player selecting most winners will go through. If that fails to decide it the the player selecting the highest priced winner will qualify.
First leg next Saturday second leg following Sat.
Let me know if any questions and good luck.February 11, 2007 at 23:08 #87066
Hmmm. What happens of the highest price winner doesn’t settle it? :biggrin:February 11, 2007 at 23:30 #87067
Than the highest number of seconds, etc.February 12, 2007 at 00:20 #87068
Ok here’s an amateur’s attempt at the prices (what do I know – my favourite got knocked out last week!)
Colin Little 8/1
Merlin The Magican 10/1
Non Vintage 10/1
Bob Rolf 12/1
Mick Slade 12/1
Trigger 12/1
Den S 14/1
Racing Daily 16/1
Matty 16/1
Neil Anderson 16/1
Absolution 16/1
Bertie 16/1
Merve The Swerve 16/1
Kevin 16/1
Roland 16/1
Michael Walsh 16/1
Zandor 16/1
Bampi 16/1 – group rematch with Zandor could be good
FlatSeasonLover 20/1
John Williams 20/1
Perpetual 20/1
Happy Jack 20/1
Stav 20/1
Jaslang 25/1
Treggy 25/1
JohnnyB 25/1
Jordon 33/1
Baggie321 33/1
Viking Flagship 50/1
Slater 50/1
Pat123 50/1
Grundy 50/1
You got the luck of the draw there Grundy. Dens/Bob Rolf and Racing Daily/Matty should both be good!February 12, 2007 at 00:23 #87069
How come I got number 13 btw Cormack? You trying to tell me something lol? BTW you said on the other thread
Nice one FSL – Some tasty looking prices there.
My 50/1 would be tempting but I can only qualify if I beat SteveH tomorrow, Keith Reed loses to Racing Daily next week and Colin Little doesn’t win his remaining two matches!
From our group Colin looks a little underpriced at 20/1 given he needs to win both his last two group games and needs Keith to slip up also. I’d say Keith at 33/1 is a fair shout. Good form in 4pp and even if he doesn’t take anything from his game next week could still qualify. If he does get through that 33/1 will look big.
Once it gets to the last 32 and the two legged knock out stage it could be very open and I’d be looking for an oustider at this stage – There’s a fair chance that either DVDS or Stav (cough), or even both, could get through in Gr 1 and at 66/1 a small wager on both of those might pay dividends.
You still reckon Colin looks underpriced? Nice bet with Stav btw you’re onto a winner there!
16/1 looks rather tasty, a lot better than the 10s.
I’m tempted to take a fiver worth of that if anyone wants it. I like knockout. It’s what I do. I asked Corals for a quote, but they only offered me a whicker worth of 9s, as long as I doubled it up with Barack Obama becoming the next US president :biggrin:February 12, 2007 at 01:46 #87071
Well you’ve got a very difficult draw in my opinion. If you win your 2 legs against Matty your 8/1, but as I say the draw has not been kind to you.February 12, 2007 at 10:02 #87072
I live for the challenge FSL :)
I don’t think any final 32 draw is gonna be a gimme to be honest.February 12, 2007 at 11:52 #87073
Yep FSL – he WAS underpriced at the time given he had to win both his games AND hope Keith slipped up AND then win 4 ties after that. However – he’s done part one and two!
February 18, 2007 at 23:53 #87074Jim JTSMember

I scored myself 24 because that is my correct score ;)
I think the 34 that Jim has credited me with is a typo.February 19, 2007 at 04:15 #87077
I’d keep quiet RD ;)February 19, 2007 at 17:25 #87078Jim JTSMember
