The gap between De Valira’s price and those of Wins Now and Orbit O’Gold has narrowed but I still don’t understand why he’s significantly shorter than them. Either De Valira is bad value or the other two are overpriced.
March 12, 2007 at 19:53 #44355Granit Jack last 6 runs have been over 20f +. These horses do not win the 161/2f Supreme, Amaretto is a ridiculous price for one so inexperienced. I have it between Hide the Evidence and Rindoon
March 12, 2007 at 20:23 #44356I`m on DE SOTO at fancy prices and with Webbers horses starting to run well i fancy im in with a good shout. Horse is already proven at the festival and despite under performing on the heavy out im not worried about this type of ground. The jolly is the one to beat but ive got a feeling she would be better on a more orthadox flat track, i`ll take Granit Jack as the alternative!!
March 12, 2007 at 20:24 #44357Tipperary All Star has a great chance to be placed ignore the Ascot run wasnt right for a couple of Days after the race but back to form now.
March 12, 2007 at 21:00 #44358I have Hide the Evidence as my bet although this race has not been lucky for me.
Remember last year when I though Straw Bear was going to kick me off to a fantastic start dohhhhhhhh!
Good Luck All!
March 12, 2007 at 21:39 #44359Thanks Roly.
Fingers crossed her preparation has all gone to plan and she will be going to post tomorrow in the best possible form. We (and the 90+ other members of the racing club) are convinced that she is the best horse in the field and in all honesty we will be disappointed if she gets beaten (how crazy is that thought with the club’s very first Cheltenham runner?!), all she needs now is that little bit of luck that is always so vital in races such as this.
March 12, 2007 at 21:43 #44360Good luck HJ and Sal – I’ll be cheering loudly if she jumps the last with a chance.
March 13, 2007 at 01:35 #44361On what piece of form can Rindoon finish in the first half dozen?

Yeah good luck! Not long to wait now
March 13, 2007 at 06:29 #44363Am I’m totally mad for backing I’m So Lucky?
Winner at Royal Ascot and fair form in novice hurdles (admittedly pulled himself up at Taunton),but had a nice confidence boosting win at Ludlow last time out.
Wouldn’t be the strongest renewal so could see him running well at big odds.
March 13, 2007 at 06:57 #44364DJ Rindoon is a choice on potential rather than form
March 13, 2007 at 08:08 #44365I agree with Aragorn. Tyson could outclass them. Have laid Amaretto for a place at 1.85. She looked impressive last time but she was up against very little.
March 13, 2007 at 09:58 #44366Streets ahead of any of these on the flat, and winning on heavy last time means i’m confident he’ll get the trip and williams is on fire at the minute.. I hope we’re right Zorro cos I stand to win a fair few quid if he wins! Dubai to Cheltenham!!! That would be a story!
March 13, 2007 at 10:31 #44367Good luck to both of us. Then put some (more) on Detroit.:)
Should have waited a bit for my Amaretto place lay though.
March 13, 2007 at 10:48 #44368Already on it! ;)
Forgot to add earlier that it’s probably significant that De Kock has kept an interest in this horse.. I remember him talking the horse up as a potential world cup winner.
