This is potentially a top notch horse, one of the best 2 year olds seen this season and I think will take some beating tomorrow.
Can see it going off at around the 8/11, 4/6 mark.
What do you reckon? Future group 1 winner??
DEEMAN
June 3, 2012 at 21:54 #406757yes indeed, around that mark i would say.
nice to see a horse bring back memories of the seemingly forgotten new approach.
June 3, 2012 at 22:23 #406761I think the sire is affected by Mr. Bolgers’s perceived (!) mis-information during the Derby Ante-Post market.
And that after his nodding off during Teofilo getting injured during Guineas week, after basically a year of being Ante-Post Favourite for the race.
Mr. Bolger sure has been unfortunate with the two top class colts he has had over the last few years. Begorra!

Begorra? are you deliberately trying to be offensive or are you just stupid?
June 4, 2012 at 06:52 #406794David Wachman’s Cougar Ridge was vey impressive at Leopardstown and I fancy him to give Bolger a run for his money.
June 4, 2012 at 16:22 #406864I was offered 7/2 for this years ‘Dewhurst’ straight after the race in Naas just now! Not even I was tempted with that,he could go off 20/1 yet for it as did his old stable companion ‘Intense Focus’ having been beaten in a Coventry in 2009,I still believe thats his number 1 target for the season then the 2000gns.He’s the sort who will improve for a winter on his back, still a bit raw boned and definately mentally immature but I like this fellow a lot. ‘Lines to Battle’ looks more interesting than the ‘Henrythenavigator’ colt ‘Cristoforo Colombo’ but its early days yet!
June 4, 2012 at 18:06 #406880I believe that Jim became a very wealthy man through the sale of those two colts to the Arabs. At least the sale of New Approach got the Arabs the Derby winner they longed for.Begorra he could buy and sell those of us who find him amusing. He spends over a million a year on staff salaries and most of his runners are owned by his wife.
