Does anyone know what is wrong with Pipe’s horses. He appears to have withdrawn all his horses today.
I know they have not been running great lately but does he have a virus??
November 16, 2008 at 16:11 #190045Very Cool is still running at Fontwell. It will be very interesting to see how he gets on.
November 16, 2008 at 16:44 #190047Going by the fact that very cool is still running.
It must be due to the ground at chelters.
November 16, 2008 at 17:35 #190059I’m a great fan of David Pipe and follow his runners closely and I’m pleased he’s withdrawn some of his horses today because for a while now they have been running very poorly. He went the whole of October, until the final day, without a winner and although he’s had the odd winner since his horses are still running very badly. They are travelling well enough in the early stages then going out like a light when put under pressure.
It will be interesting to see how Very Cool runs today because compared to his hurdles form, he’s incredibly well handicapped. Rapid Pete has just been pulled up at Fontwell. I’m not a fan of Tom Scudamore either. Family loyalty is fine but I just don’t think he is good enough to be a stable jockey.November 16, 2008 at 18:54 #190072

Pablo Du Charmil must be immune.
November 16, 2008 at 19:00 #190073Bloody Stable form was the only reason I didn’t back Pablo du Charmil today
November 16, 2008 at 20:22 #190088Mamlook tailed off, Qulinton tailed off, Very Cool hampered but still tailed off. Could hardly raise a leg up the run in.
