Some interesting points welsh wizard , especially regarding the jockeys and trainers he thinks are crooks.
For me its simple. You either do not bother saying anything about trainers or jockeys being crooks, or you indeed do but surely should go to the relevant authorities to express your concerns for the integrity of racing.
Its just irrelevant information to share with the reader that there are ‘bent’ trainers and jockeys. Its of no value to the reader at all.
It’s the same with some posters on here, claiming to have inside knowledge on things like jockey/trainer fall-outs. Why claim to have the knowledge and then subsequently fail to divulge it? Is it to look ‘in the know’? Just keep your mouth shut instead of inciting suspicion and curiousity.

January 24, 2008 at 12:29 #137414I understand that Colin. My point is, why claim to have information if you’re unable to divulge it? It only arouses suspicion and curiousity and has no use to anybody.
January 24, 2008 at 13:09 #137428Did his wife kick him BTW
Whatever about questioning Barry’s professional conduct, either on or off course and/or on or off-telly, this is irrelevant. BD’s (and anyone else’s) private life is their business and nobody else’s. This is not a tabloid forum FFS.
January 24, 2008 at 13:33 #137433David,
I think Kent may be referring to Dave Nevison, and the contents of his book.
