Bets for Turkish open only 1 Golf event this week

    HAITONG LI 33/1

Lost a playoff in event last year while course form got to go on from 2013 2015 both course winners Koepka and Dubussion.Li has played here before was 26th in 2015 but 4 years on a much improved player he started well in Shenzan and even got into lead at weekend before fading but he showed enough to suggest a bold run on cards here.

    DANNY WILLETT 28/1

Who won at Wentworth is worth supporting here this week he been 4th and 11th here before while he disappoint last week these calmer waters can see him back in form again.

    JOOST LUITEN 45/1

This Dutchman has been showing decent form over last 6weeks and been 18th and 25th at venue before way he playing can pick up another win soon and could be here.

    THOMAS DETRY 50/1

If look at 2winners at this venue in Koepka and Dubussion both were powerful maidens and those looking to break there ducks this player from Belguim stands out was 3rd in Turkey last year and this venue should suit even more. Was 8th in France last time out to.

    SEAN CROCKER 250/1

A big hitting yank who still not broke his duck but could follow in footsteps of Koepka on being American to break duck like Brooks did now not saying he in same league as him he not.But his game should suit around here.

    Good luck guys

    Nice to hear grimes mate

Yeah, a bit of a sickener with Xander Raymo and I’m afraid I had him on the nose on the
outright, but he did get into the money at 22s e/w finishing T3 in the 1st round.
Other than that I had SFA. Bad luck with Kokrak, that was bloody frustrating :-(

Only one golf tournament to bet on this week so have backed five instead of my usual four.

    TURKISH OPEN

    P REED 10/1
    G COETZEE 35/1
    J LAGERGREN 66/1
    J HARDING 100/1
    J CAMPILLO 125/1

All each way all seven places which I hope is enough this week :good: :good:

    Turkish Airlines Open

Tyrrell Hatton 16/1 (25/1 1st round leader market)

I fancied Hatton for the WGC-HSBC Championship last week, but he really disappointed
me when he started off 72,73 to just get inside the cut. I gave up on him at that
point, even with an improved 3rd round 68, but he came home with a fair rattle in
the final round with one of the best rounds of the day at 65. It still didn’t get
him into the money, but T14 looked a long way off at halfway. I reckon he can do
    better this week.

Robert Macintyre 28/1 (33/1 1st round leader market)

A young Scot that has only been on the tour for barely 2 years, and he’s hit
the crossbar finishing runner up twice last year and 3 times this year. He’s
improving all the time and 5 top tens this year show he’s no flash in the pan.
He often starts off well, so he’s definitely a candidate for the 1st round leader
    market.

Christiaan bezuidenhout 40/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)

He’s already got a win under his belt at Andalucia earlier in the year, and recent
form, which includes 3 top 20s in his last 4 tournaments, gives him a decent chance.

Guido Migliozza 90/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

He’s another youngster I’ve gone for, and I think his chances are better than his odds
suggest. He seemed to have gone a bit off the boil after a decent T7 in the European
Tour a couple of months back, but looked to be coming back to form last time out with
a T14 in the Portugal masters, finishing with a round of 65. At these odds he’s worth
    taking a chance with.

That’s me done for this week, good luck guys :good:

Nice to hear from you Grimes, glad that you’re doing ok mate :good:

    Final Tennis event of season

ROGER FEDERER 4/1 ATP London finals

While Djokovic in draw i expect him to beat Thiem and Berretini to progress in last 4 not lost indoors this year and loves it he does miss Paris but makes him fresher for this and can win here

    STEFANOS TSITISPAS 14/1

In other group gone for Greek player who has beaten the best this year Djokovic,Nadal and Federer and he wanted to make it here and done that opener with Medvedev not ideal but can beat him while Zverev and Nadal will hold no fears for him to.

Will do a Tennis round up of year when this event is over

And at the moment both of my Gen next bets in semi finals with De Minaur and Sinner so every chance face each other in final.

Well done Darren with Sinner :good:

I’m kinda sweating it out at the moment, I’ve got Hatton in the Turkish
Open and he’s going into a 6 way play-off. Too many to cover the bet, so
I’ll just let it run and hope for the best

Well he’s still there after 3 play-off holes, and it’s down to two of
them now, Hatton and Schwab. Out of the other 5, Schwab is the one I’d
least like to be left in with hatton, but you never know, he might pull
    it off yet

Cheers Darren. It was a bit of a strange way for me to follow the tournament this week,
I’m down at my sis in law’s in Stratford and she doesn’t have any sports chanels, in fact
she can’t stand sport at all

What I did was have the European Tour site up, but kept checking the betting sites as they
react quicker to any change. I didn’t know what happened, but on the 1st play-off hole Hatton
suddenly was out to 16/1. I thought he was dead in the water, but a few mins later he was 9/4.
I found out later that he chipped in to stay in the hunt, sometimes things like that just let
you know that your name is on it.

After getting gubbed in the play-off last week I was over the moon that I got (literally) the rub
    of the green :yahoo:

    Bets for Golf this week

    LOUIS OOSTHUIZEIN 12/1 Needbank challenge

Was back to form last time in WGC in Asia when 3rd could won it but play well there and a return to home country where has strong form won SA open last year while 3rd in Needbank also been in top ten over last 4years to man to beat here.

    HAITONG LI 28/1

While not a factor in Turkey last week it to soon to write this world class player off and can improve with a return here was 5th and 4th last 2years here and form in Shenzan is enough to suggest this talent bounces back this week.

    THOMAS DETRY 50/1

Was 6th here on debut and good by him he show form for 2rounds last week but unable to sustain it for weekend this maiden should win soon and a power course like here could be ideal

    RUSSEL KNOX 33/1 Makayooba classic

Is coming back to form and he loves it here been 3rd and 2nd over the years here seem to finding form again did well in Bermuda last time out and can go close here again

    AARON WISE 40/1

Course not a natural fit for power packed youngster but neither was Bermuda but did well has decent form here at venue to was 10th last year and ever chance of a improved showing here.

    KRAMER HICKOK 150/1

Straight hitting type who should relish this layout made a decent debut here last year when 29th while last 2events been better was 23rd in Houston and 15th in Bermuda and can improve again

    CT PAN 160/1

It true not been in best of form for a bit but some of courses been on not suit him but play well here and won Heritage open which a pointer to here it is so can suprise folk here

Knox and Oosthuizein win double to

    Nedbank Golf Challenge

Well there’s good news and there’s bad news. I’ve made a complete arse of it with my
timing to get my bets on with this one, with one exception. I backed Guido Migliozzi
a couple of days back (early hours Tuesday morning) on the outright, when most firms
didn’t have their 1st round betting in place. I left it to get it sorted last night
and forgot. So the position is that I’ve only got 1 bet on in this so far. I took Guido
at 80/1 with Betfred, and at present he’s leading after 14 holes at 6 under and is 11/1
with them. I’m absolutely kicking myself, because I see he would have been 66/1 in the
1st round betting. It’s daft, but I’m almost willing someone to overtake him today or it’s
gonna hurt. I’ll post the bet as this could look like horrendous after timing. I’ll probably
have a couple of in-play bets at some point.
