TOP STUFF GRAHAM
September 23, 2019 at 19:41 #1462414I second that Gray!… intoned in a pompous parliamentarian’s voice. Have to call you and Dazzler, Butch and Sundance – only your banks are the bookies!
(:mail:)
September 23, 2019 at 20:17 #1462417Lol Grimes, I quite like the sound of the Butch and Sundance, I just hope we
both don’t end up the same waySeptember 23, 2019 at 21:54 #1462423Now there’s a thought, Graham…. I wouldn’t put it past them….. six-armed bandits like that Indian god. Anyway, great to hear you lads winning so often, and winning well. I’m sure I don’t need to tell the four of you to keep up the good work.
I had a strange confirmation from ‘Upstairs’ that I was not to continue betting. Twice I tried to just sneak a small bet on the rugby world cup, and both times, it immediately switched to another unrelated screen. Normally, I would have bet on France against the Pumas, as they only seem to bother to peak for the big international champion- ships, but a journalist was so confident about the Argies, I was going to do them. Guess who won?
September 24, 2019 at 08:50 #1462466If you get word from “Upstairs” Grimes, you’ve got to pay heed. It was a topsy turvy match and
if you had backed the French you would have thought you had the money in the bank by half time.
Then if you backed the Argies you would have thought you had sneaked it, only to be outdone by
a French kickerSometimes you are just as well sitting back and watching it with your money safe in your pocket.
Nice to hear from you again Grimes, take care mateSeptember 24, 2019 at 12:53 #1462478Bets for golf start at Alfred dunhill links championship
TOMMY FLEETWOOD 20/1
Been 2nd here and 3 times 5th as well loves these 3 courses so far this year been no win for him but as we saw at open 2nd there though behind Lowry still get a lot of credit way he play there things not go great at Wentworth but a proven player around these 3 courses.
ROBERT MACINTYRE 50/1
Normally links golf more suited for older players but this young buck loves it here been a star of European tour this season 6th at the open and been 2nd in Denmark and Germany but a 2nd again in british masters show his love for links golf like the open could win here this week.
EDDIE PEPPERELL 100/1
Another UK player lover of links this been a cracking year for him 3rd in the players championship was brilliant has won a british masters been 2nd in Scottish open to has got a mixed record at this event but been 8th and 7th before can improve on that
RYAN FOX 225/1
This event chucks up big price winners for fun and it true he not have best of records this links lover can go well 24th best showing here by him which a shock as he a proven performer on links terrain as shown by irish open 2nd.
TAPPIO PULKNANEN 250/1
Was 4th here last year very good by him and no reason why not get in the places again this week had a series of MC but broke that spell last week at Wentworth when 26th and can build on it again this week.

HIDECKI MATSUYAMA 16/1
No doubt JT and Cantlay right players at top of market but a feeling they looking at bigger events at end of year. And the ball striking wonder that is Mats can win this week 3rd here before but showed form in Fed ex playoffs to suggest a win is coming soon think be this week.
COLIN MORIKAWA 40/1
Biggest danger to selection could be this course debutnant he showed his class winning the barracuda on a line through Brendan Steele a 2time winner and who has Barracuda form. Then for me Morikawa will take to this course like a duck to water and very dangerous rival.
EMILLIANO GRILLO 50/1
Was on him for this event when called frys open beat Na in playoff same price as well to.He started well last week but in the end fade away still not added to maiden PGA win but this event chuck up repeat winners as noted with Steele.
WYNDHAM CLARK 110/1
Was 33th here last year but since then improved a lot since of course still looking for that maiden win a big hitter he is and for me a maiden worth keeping a eye on
PATRICK RODGERS 200/1
Was 5th here when called frys.com and last week for a few rounds showed something to suggest a return to form is coming for top talent who still not broke his duck but a kid who still got enough time to make a impact on tour
Good luck guys this week
BigG a question for you why do you protect your bet on golf i know why so you not get a loser but also with betting there has to be that doubt of losing you know take that risk as you know with Fox last year in irish open or B AN Memorial both at 80/1 for me it was heartbreaking. but that the excitement while i was gutted as well. But that the risk you take with betting there been times when had odds on bet in a tennis final but i never backed other player i let it ride in the final i do.Not having a go at you mate just thought i should ask you as for me there has to be that risk of losing to make it fun even though not fun when have a loser.
September 24, 2019 at 21:23 #1462498Darren, BigG is probably mindful of his ‘ticker’, and has probably had enough for a while of hiding behind the settee.
September 24, 2019 at 21:26 #1462499Yes, BigG, I read it was very close, and seemingly, a nightmare for the ref. And yes, I’ve apologised to the Boss for that little lapse… and that’s it now. Seriously. No coughing attack.
September 24, 2019 at 21:27 #1462500Not sure what there is to get Darren, but there’s a pretty simple answer. If I come
to the end of a competition and my player is almost over the line, and trading at long
odds on, but there is still one other player who although very unlikely to win could
potentially catch me, and he is trading at long odds, then I don’t mind losing a little
of my winnings to ensure a very good return. I wouldn’t do it for a return of 100 quid,
but if, as in this case, I’m looking at over 500 quid return, then I don’t have to risk
much at big odds on offer to cover the bet.You mentioned the Irish Open when we both had Ryan Fox at 80/1 and it’s a perfect example
of why I do it. It came to the last hole, with Russel Knox the only player that could catch
our man who looked home and hosed in the clubhouse. Knox was on the par 4 18th playing his
2nd in really thick horrible rough a long way from the green and needing a birdie to tie.
As I posted live at the time “he needs a miracle”. Knox was trading at 25/1 at that time,
and I had over 800 quid coming back on Fox, so I stuck 30 quid on Knox at 25/1, and mentioned
it live in running befor he played his shots. As you know, Knox hits a great shot out the rough
but is still about 40 yards from the hole….and then he rolls it in. He then wins the play-off.
Without the insurance I took on Knox, I get nothing back. With the insurance I took on Knox, I
got 780 quid back. Just those 2 examples net me £1,350. Without taking the insurance bets I get
nothing and I’m left shaking my head. The fact that I know I’m guaranteed a big pay off doesn’t spoil it for me in any way, I can enjoy
watching the finish without sweating blood. At the end of the day, I’m on this thread and betting
on the golf to make money. Thankfully I’ve done that every year I’ve been here, and without tallying
this year up exactly, I know I’m very well in front, very well up in 4 figures as my last little tally
last month would indicate. This weekend’s 2 wins, Wallace and Munoz, taking the losing bets into
account, added over a grand which didn’t hurt either.I think we’ve all done really well in here Darren, even if, as it seems, we look at things
slightly differently. Best of luck mate for the rest of the seasonSeptember 25, 2019 at 11:20 #1462597How things Grimes you ok mate had 2 more tennis winners at Weekend with Osaka and Muchova could be better this week though Halep and Kyrgios out.
Best of luck to you BigG as well mate i just enjoy it mate of course a element of doubt for me when it comes to betting has saying goes got to take rough with smooth Grimes do you hide behind the couch

September 27, 2019 at 17:17 #1463140WTA China open bets
PETRA KVITOVA 16/1
Way overpriced here she is of course a loss to Riske not ideal but mean be much fresher here and get a extra day has all semi finalists from last week do.Her draw is nice with Collins or Mladenovic up 1st then V Williams then Bencic who be tough but can beat her.Barty in last 8 be hard and then be into last 4 should not fear anyone
NAOMI OSAKA 10/1
Got things back on track last time with a win in Osaka not drop a set be fair never look like dropping a set her power was back can tear through here likely meeting with Petra in final.Last 8 with Andreescu looks exciting but can beat us open champ.Doubts over Halep and Keys who both in her half of draw she can get to final.
