I really like Amazing Maria @ 5/1 for this – a proper Group 1 filly who goes well fresh.
I was surprised to see her at 5/1, maybe O’Meara doesn’t think she’s ready?
May 1, 2016 at 12:19 #1244273Actually I just noticed she took a couple of runs to hit top gear last season, I was sure she won first time out! Sorry!
May 1, 2016 at 12:21 #1244274Although I wonder if that was just the fact that it took O’Meara a couple of runs to get improvement out of her because she had run very poorly on her last couple of runs for Dunlop
May 1, 2016 at 12:25 #1244277I ma not certain but to me most of O’Meara’s have needed a run. I am ready to be proved wrong but I think AM will be better later in the season and personally I think there are three runners in this and two of them are Gosden’s !!
I am on Jazzi Top at 9/4 and his other one each way at 20/1.
Good Luck Guys
May 1, 2016 at 12:35 #1244286I have a small sentimental each way stake on Irish Rookie, but TBH I don’t have any serious hopes for her!

Anyone expecting anything from Arabian Queen?
Good luck with Jazzi Top @raymo61! I love that family.
May 1, 2016 at 20:06 #1244322I think Amazing Maria might be the one to take out of the race. The winner had race fitness on her side and the second got the easy lead she craves.
Amazing Maria boxed on well for third despite the O’Meara horses all seeming to need their first runs this season. No doubt she’ll continue to be a force in the G2s and weaker filly/mare G1s.
