Don’t watch his ride then in the last at Market Rasen on the favourite Plain Sailing.
People may be split on whether it should have won but I am in no doubt had he kicked when he joined the eventual second instead of taking a pull he would have won IMO.
Cost me a lot a few years ago at Cheletnham when he got beat not far may I add and weighed in 3lbs heavier. Got fined and banned but no consolation to me. He came second on Wylies, name escapes me and was not beaten far.

Backed Plain Sailing in a Reverse Forecast with the winner, only small stakes.

Agree thought it was a bad ride looked as though he was trying to win on the bridle, only for the eventual winner to fly past late on as well as the horse on his inner rallying gamely. If not winning he surely would have at least got second, Infuriating!

Totally disagree. Probably one of the best national hunt jockeys riding, nobody better at teaching horses to jump.

He is doomed with John ferguson if you ask me as none of his horses stay the trip well enough.

The horse was arcalis by the way and to be judged as a bad jockey on one bumper at MR is crazy.
