Devastating injury to Cuthbert Dibble in 3rd at Chepstow 😥. Reminiscent of the Bowens day yesterday. A winner for Sam Twiston-Davies in the 2nd race. Then an horrific injury to Cuthbert Dibble in the next RIP

That was horrible to watch; seemed to happen mid-jump, before he landed. Makes me wonder if racing is worth it

What a bad start to the NH season proper. Can’t recall a Chepstow in October being that cruel.
    May he rest in peace

A bad start indeed Ruby..

I was at Newmarket and they were showing Chepstow on the screen, I wasn’t really watching but just happened to glance up and saw poor Cuthbert Dibble break down it looked horrific, poor boy. I couldn’t get that image out of my head.

    R.I.P. Cuthbert Dibble 🌹🥲

Apparently his lass sank to her knees. What an awful start to the season.

I have to say that sometimes it does make you wonder if these awful
accidents will one day play a part in bringing about the end of National Hunt racing.

Another horse lost in Cuthbert Dibble is really bad news, particularly for the stable
staff who looked after him on a daily basis.

Horses crashing to the turf over the jumps becomes more and more indefensible in my mind , I still take passing interest in jumps but getting less and less interested and I used to go a lot . Just looks old fashion now . Wouldnt really miss it , most of the rest world of racing outside UK , Ireland , France pretty uninterested bar few little tracks . Theres going to be some tough decisions in a few years , however i think govemment got hands full with other issues at moment .
