    Posted on FB.
He suffered a bout of colic and was pts yesterday, poor boy. I don’t think he’d run for over a year, and used to be with Lucinda Russell (I think!). RIP lad :(

Oh no poor boy.. just checked his form and he was such a consistent horse ridden almost exclusively by the late and greatly missed Campbell Gillies. RIP

I was at Arlary Open Day about this time last year when his retirement was announced. All through the parade of horses he was craning his neck out of his box as he wanted to see what was going on. He got his moment as he was led forward to ‘take a bow’.

Culcabock served the stable well at top level meetings and it’s a great pity he wasn’t able to live a long and happy retirement.

    RIP

    RIP Culcabock
What a dreadfully sad year for Lucinda Russell..the tragic death of Campbell Gillies, Brindisi Breeze and now this dear old servant.
    All thoughts to connections.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...
