Just been watching the races at Punchestown today. Am I right in thinking that this horse was featured in the BBC4 programme about Paul Nolan; the one that was a bit ‘difficult’..? If so, I’m really pleased for the horses connections who seemed to have no end of bad luck with the horse in that programme.
April 24, 2010 at 17:41 #292264Yes, the same horse, isn’t it great that he won today. Paul Nolan seemed to have a lot of faith in him in the programme.
April 24, 2010 at 17:56 #292265Glad someone else thought the same. I was chuffed to pieces for the horse and connections. After watching the programme I have followed the yard and wished them well. A follow up would be nice

April 24, 2010 at 21:01 #292296His win was a source of deep frustration for me! I was sitting looking at Ladbrokes 9/1 for an hour but couldn’t leave the house as I had number one son asleep upstairs and ‘er indoors gone shopping- by the time I got down to Laddies it was 6/1 and I wouldn’t back it!
Could be a Galway Plate horse if he doesn’t get clobbered by the handicapper- he loves fast ground.April 24, 2010 at 21:40 #292312Trainer said he might go for that or possibly try to win the hurdle again.
