Always like a long ranger in this. Wanted Duffle Coat to be that bet, but really needed him to take in Cheltenham tomorrow.

One who does take this in, is Favori De Champdou. He’s not necessarily kicked on from his younger days, but a wee sighter tomorrow, and a few pounds shaved off between now and March would be ideal

Was tempted to go with two, and J’Arrive De L’Est really appeals At 16’s, but I’ve bet him tomorrow, and I’ll be happy enough if he wins there. Still on the radar though

    Favori De Champdou (Cashed Out)
    J’Arrive De L’Est

Cashed out Favori for now, as no need to have him for now

Least said about that Favori decision the better. Wasn’t the biggest bet at that stage, but 33’s is 33’s

Pied Piper my main hope now, but price shorter than I hoped for. He’s also entered in The Ultima, so option but to wait just now

Also looked at old favourites, Conflated and Escaria Ten.

Minella Crooner Cashed out – due to senior moment, lack of sleep. More embarrassing than cashing out Favori

    Final Decs

Waited too long, scraped 16’s. Originally put up Conflated, but didn’t bet him

    Pied Piper 16’s

    Vanillier 25/1

With STown seemingly unlikely to run, and given this year’s 3rd could be significantly upgraded I think the odds on offer about Vanillier are quite attractive.

If the blazing fast front-runner Karre d’As turns up and does her usual, this may end up being more of a test of stamina than usual.

    Stumptown for me.

A lot more weight to carry this time around but he looked better than ever in the Czech race. Cromwells form is the main worry.

Tough one to figure out. Desertmore House and Final Orders might be better treated than the top two, so I’ll opt for them.

Well done cecil and Peter, love an end to end performance like that. Although was hoping Fakir d’Oudairies would win for a suitably Gallic flourish from the commentator, afterhe has navigated the fences so reminiscent of Le Grand Fromage at Pau, with which we are so well acquainted, naturellement.
