Blackbeard.
Reminds me a bit of Caravaggio, and repeat of his last at the Curragh should suffice here…
June 8, 2022 at 14:35 #1601248Looks an interesting race – Persian Power takes on the Ballydoyle hordes.

His dam being a half sister to a Chesham winner
His price however is not so appealing
Hoping for bigger on the day
I think I put him in my 10 to follow
June 9, 2022 at 06:18 #1601320Persian Force in this is one of the best best bets of the week imo. Think he should be fav. 4/1 is huge.
June 9, 2022 at 06:55 #1601322Tbh, I’d be terrified of those 16 unexposed last time out winners in potential opposition if I was thinking of plunging on anything in this.
It only takes one….

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 10, 2022 at 10:18 #1601465Blackbeard and Persian Force would be my two with slight preference for Blackbeard although it does look a proper minefield like Ian says
Blackbeard to conquer the World
June 10, 2022 at 19:54 #1601523Bradsell for me. Won effortless by 9 lengths on his debut on good to soft ground and speadeagled the field. The horse he beat (Northcliff) had earlier finished 2 lengths in 3rd behind Legend Of Xanadu(2nd) who went on to win two races since including the recent Woodcote Stakes.
At around 12/1, I’m rather optimistic that Bradsell will improve (even better if the going is good) and run into a place at the very least.
June 13, 2022 at 21:50 #1601848There’s a couple strongly fancied here but, as previously stated, with something like 13 last time out winners, it’s an open race.
Remarkable Force might be value at 33/1 and bigger on the Exchange.

June 14, 2022 at 00:02 #1601872Blackbeard for me and he’s my nap of the week.
June 14, 2022 at 09:26 #1601909Have sided with Persian Force
Has been very impressive so far
June 14, 2022 at 11:03 #1601927Persian force respected but..
BLACKBEARD trialed on the all weather at Dundalk (changed hands in house.)
Another win on soft, then in the Ascot trial Horris Hill on good to yielding.
Chosen for this race.
Has stall 14 which means he can dwell and run on near to the rail and finish strongly.
Ryan Moore rides this runner in preference to stable’s other horse.June 14, 2022 at 12:04 #1601934I’ve sided with Persian Force also.
June 14, 2022 at 14:26 #1601951Persian Force for me too in my daily 50p treble so can hardly say I’m massively confident but the horse has looked very impressive so far.
June 14, 2022 at 15:09 #1601971Well done Ghost.
June 14, 2022 at 15:12 #1601972Has won that very easily really
Excellent turn of foot to kick clear
June 14, 2022 at 15:15 #1601974York form in Good to Soft on the Knavesmire marshland doesn’t always work out but that’s a fast 2yo who handled different conditions with aplomb.
