Newspaperofrecord very impressive winner at the Breeders Cup looks bound for Royal Ascot. Fingers crossed she makes it.

Newspaperofrecord should come here for 1000 Guineas.

Curious – Has any American horses ever won any British classic?

No US-trained horse has ever won an English classic, although Fourstars Allstar did land the Irish 2,000 Guineas in 1991.

The most prestigious American victory on an English course is probably that of Reigh Count in the Coronation Cup way back in 1929.
