Opera Singer was beaten by a better filly at the trip.
Will be the last time we see OS at a mile.

The massive drift combined with using no pacemaker tells me that the lads knew Opera Singer still wasn’t fully forward today.
She’ll be no 100/30 next time.

A pacemaker may well have hindered Opera Singer, she likes making her own running.

Connections said before the Irish Guineas Opera Singer needed the run.
Suspect she hadn’t shown the improvement in her speed work at home between the Irish Guineas that they expected… And that came through to the market. The performance was at least on a par with the Boussac victory. 1m at two is a greater test of stamina than a mile at three. Expect improvement once running at 1m2f – 1m4f.

Of her 3 wins she made the running once winning by 5 lengths, raced prominent the other two winning as easily one of them,

What evidence is there to say she likes to make her own running based off her winning runs?

Shed have won sitting 2nd behind a stronger pace

What do you mean a mile at two is a greater test of stamina than at three? Are you just saying gibberish now or do you have an actual reason? Im half intrigued

Obviously shes going to improve going to 10f, if your winning 1m races at two the probability of needing 10f at 3 is close to 100

Why do you think 2 year olds don’t race over 12f+, ham?

Although some three year old milers will be effective at a mile at two, they are usually the ones who might start at a mile at three, but end up at middle-distances. A mile is usually the two year old distance for those who are only going to be effective at 10 to 12f. 10f two year old races are only really for those who are going to be effective from a mile and a half (shortest) or more at three.
