Maybe but that would hold more weight though surely if she hadn’t won the English Guineas as well from the front? Can’t be a coincidence?

Can’t really see what could beat her? Was heavy ground for Castle Lady, not put you off?

No but the margin of victory was way wider at the curragh that was my point

And her price reflects that winning margin not the one at newmarket

As I said she is the likeliest winner just think at the prices not a bet for me, and I backed her in both guineas

    Hermosa looks nailed on.
I’ve had a play on Just Wonderful for the hell of it
She’s been smashed by the fav the last twice so it makes you wonder why Aidan keeps throwing her in at the deep end. I think She is a bit of an enigma, the talent is there, she was a big eye catcher in the 1000 Guineas and was as short as 9/2 sp in the Irish version where she ran a bit of a stinker. If there was a genuine reason for that poor run then the 28’s on offer could be massive here.

Obviously she’s been impressive and likeliest winner, but not only was there a pace bias at the curragh. She probably didn’t beat the most thorough of stayers over a mile that day. Well in my view anyway, Pretty Pollyanna isn’t probably a out and out miler, and at this stage we couldn’t be sure Foxtrot Liv is either. Not that easy to dictate from the front here i don’t think.

    Watch Me 16/1

6th in the French 1000G but that doesn’t tell the story. Peslier got the filly in all sorts of traffic problems and was left with a heap of running. Better pace & a stiffer finish here and she should outrun her each way odds for Graffard who took the French Oaks just last week.

Seems to be a lot of fishing for a horse to take her on, but having looked again at the race, surely if there is a horse that’s going to beat her(rather than Hermosa getting herself beat), it’s Jubiloso? I’ve put Hermosa into multiples and gone in EW on Jubiloso @ 13/2 on betfair

Taking on Hermosa in this as I think horses that run early season can peak at this time of year and she’s run brilliantly so far but this could be harder.

Castle Lady has the right profile..unbeaten in her 3 races, progressing from her Maiden win to a Group 3 and then on to win the French 1000 Guineas all on ground from testing to good.

Main Edition is my EW bet at a big price. I couldn’t believe how she had grown when I last saw her in the line up for the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, she’s a beautiful filly and from running 7th to Hermosa Mark Johnston took her to Dusseldorf to win the 1000 Guineas there.
She looks as though she will stay all day long and hopeful of a big run from her today.

    CASTLE LADY- WIN
    MAIN EDITION – Each Way

Yes, top punting Kev. I didn’t watch the French Guineas but judging by the Racing Post in running comments you wouldn’t have thought she met much trouble at all.

Brilliant tipping Kev and great race watching to single her out you must be well chuffed, can’t believe she reversed form with Castle Lady, disappointing for me but an amazing performance by the filly  Hope you got the enhanced odds 20/1.

I thought Hermosa would get beaten but must admit I didnt look at the French filly.
Nice to see some fresh blood winning and good breeding Olympic Glory out of Choisir and the Mare
.. Watchful by Galileo. :good: Jac
