It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"May 28, 2022 at 18:27 #1599618This a group 3 or a group 1?
May 28, 2022 at 22:43 #1599639It wouldn’t exactly be the most vintage renewal of this contest in my lifetime.
Still, a race is a race!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"May 30, 2022 at 15:18 #1599804I see Poundland are sponsoring the 5.10 on Friday.
Wouldn’t this race have been more suitable?
May 30, 2022 at 15:55 #1599811I was at Epsom to see Rainbow Quest and St Nicholas Abbey win this race – well, I think it was this race!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"May 31, 2022 at 13:30 #1599889Triptych won it twice. Once in a downpour when she looked thoroughly miserable and then again the following year under an inspired ride from Steve Cauthen.
I may watch a recording of that race instead of this one!
June 1, 2022 at 16:30 #1599984If pyledriver was to drift to 5/2 id be very tempted
Manobo is a lunatic
High definition is a boat
Hukum is solid but has a few lbs to find with pyledriverI feel like retaining this would’ve been the big aim for the entire season too
June 2, 2022 at 19:25 #1600107Pyledriver 2-1. Free bet.
June 2, 2022 at 21:52 #1600125Manobo for me.
Takes a hold, by Sea The Stars out of a Nayef mare who won at 1m-1m2f, the drop to 1m4f could be the making of him.
No Adayar, no Hurricane Lane, no Yibir, tomorrow is the day he takes centre stage in a 1m4f Group 1.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 3, 2022 at 13:05 #1600185I’ll try High Definition, I liked his last run.
June 3, 2022 at 14:16 #1600199Manobo.
Very lightly raced for a 4-yo with only four starts but has a great record. Hope he settles early and doesn’t pull as hard as he did in Dubai last time out.
However, it wouldn’t surprise at all for Pyledriver to lift the trophy as he did face much stiffer competition in Hong Kong and Dubai…
June 3, 2022 at 14:27 #1600202High Definition for me as well, surely he has enough ability to win a race like this sooner or later?!
Had a small bet on the Johnston horse too because if you use Yibir as a yardstick he is ridiculously overpriced.
June 3, 2022 at 14:29 #1600205Pyledriver 9/4
Don’t get manobo myself, all his form is miles below pyledriver. None of his 3yo form has worked out and his meydan form beating a 90 rated Ian Williams handicapper in East Asia getting weight is not even group 3 form
I’d have it 6/4 Pyledriver and manobo third fav behind hukum
He pulls hard again he has no chance at this level
(I’m well aware that saying this means he will now win on the snaff)
And I won’t even get started on high definition, if that boat wins then this is the worst group 1 of all time.
So I’d get on the manobo/high definition reverse forecast if I was you lot
June 3, 2022 at 14:36 #1600208“this is the worst group 1 of all time”
That is a very real possibility, terrible race!
June 3, 2022 at 14:42 #1600211Looks like a solid group 1 performer in pyledriver running against a load of group 3 horses to me
But iv been horribly wrong far too many times to be overly bullish
June 3, 2022 at 14:48 #1600213It’s not a great renewal by any means and that’s why I think the one that sets a relatively low bar with an OR of 120 is vulnerable to a potential improver at the race distance.
Interesting contest.

Win
Conditions to suit and targeted at this race.
Difficult to look beyond Frankie’s horse here.
Manobo main danger, High definition has own ideas about the game. Hukum could also run well and those three the main threats.
I’ve backed PYLEDRIVER
Saver MANOBO who has only been beaten once and raced at a higher level than most. - AuthorPosts
