Alligator Alley @ 14/1
Got an early one in and hopefully bigger to come once the others open up.
Hoped he would turn up in this for a while now, first race of the week and may well be a long one if he does not at least finish in the top 4.

Backed him a couple of times now and reckon he could have a couple of decent races in him never mind one. I watched that Epsom dash from a different angle and was numb for an hour after seeing it.I think the jockey must of thought he had another 2 furlongs to run or something.
No penalty kick like this race.
July 30, 2023 at 15:33 #1657181I’m on the same selection Botchy. 14-1 is more than generous
July 30, 2023 at 19:47 #1657236I was going to tip the same horse! Only worry is the Alligator doesn’t have any form on slow ground. The favourite certainly looks well in, but is a short enough price for a tricky handicap.
July 31, 2023 at 19:29 #1657416I backed Vintage Clarets ew last time and he ran well so will do the same here. EW 4 places.
July 31, 2023 at 20:28 #1657427Quite like the look of Navello. He won the Epsom Dash last time out and
George Boughey mentioned then that a fast downhill track with a strong
pace will probably suits him, so we’ll probably keep him for Goodwood.
He’s drawn stall one so hopefully he’s not pinned to the rails if they
come accross. Hopefully Buick won’t let that happenNovello 9.2 on Betfair Exchange.
August 1, 2023 at 00:41 #1657476Had another look at the race and it’s Designer 14/1 and Acklaim Express 28/1 that appeal to me now at the prices, I’m sort of putting a line through those at the top of the market in these handicaps.
