My record in this is desperate, but won’t stop me trying

    Market……………

    https://www.oddschecker.com/cheltenham-festival/coral-cup-handicap-hurdle/winner

The horse I’ve been keeping an eye on this season is Jingko Blue. Think he’s better than we’ve seen, but unfortunately the books agree, and he’s best priced 20’s

I also like the idea of Dedicated Hero here as well. Mixed hurdles and fences this year, and if forgiven his terrible Aintree run. then I’d give him a chance here.

Ran here in The Greatwood, and shaped as though he wanted further. I liked him enough that I bet him for The Stayers, but that didn’t work out too well.

Sandy Thomson has targetted this race before, and I can see him rocking up here after a crack at The Morebattle. I just like the horse a lot, and I’m going to get him added to market

Irancy another one who could fit the bill, providing all well after his fall last week

    Dedicated Hero
    Jingko Blue

Sonogino for me has this race as a target. Caught the eye at Chepstow at the start of the season. Wud have won at sundown but for a poor ride. Not sure what the run in a pertempts qualifier was all about, but 66s NRNB appeals to me about a horse who has won off a mark above this.

Hopefully they run him again before the fez and the mark ticks up a few pounds to guarantee a run

Just spent an hour looking at this and Jingko Blue was the standout for me as well VtC. Bet365 go 33s without NRNB and that’s tempting. Will hold off for now though, although might not be wise doing so. I can see him plunging if he’s mentioned in a stable tour or confirmed as going to the race.

Edit: talked myself into taking the 33s each way.

Olly Murphy nominated indeevar bleu as his best chance at this years festival for the coral cup. Subsequently backed in from 25’s to 12’s.

I was in the William hill office of kempton park on Boxing Day when he was stood in there with Max McNeil and the horse absolutely dotted up.

Venture, that would be one of your best Sandy Thomson shouts if that one came in after not even being priced up

Tizaards, I really like your shout of Indeevar Blue. He looks to have the perfect profile for this, but I haven’t bet him yet

I have had a bet in this though, with Joyeuse at 33-1

Came From Nowhere 20s ew. He has 2 entries, this race and the Turners so backed him in that also 33s. NRNB both races.

One of my multiples down the pan now indeevar bleu doesn’t go.

Had another look at this and there’s a couple I like.

Peacenik is progressive and would race off a lovely weight. 33/1 is about the right price so I’ll have a couple of quid each way on him. And I always like previous festival form so I’m also taking the 25’s about Ballyadam. Win only.

Backed Storm Heart a week ago, mainly because everybody seems to back him. Added Hms Seahorse. He has decent form around Cheltenham and this ground should suit him and on an interesting mark.

Yellow Clay. Nice claimer on board, high marks do well, and he has some very good form.

Missed price on Putyourhandstogether. Would fancy him too, trip is a potential upside given his big flat win. Obviously been kept for this (?).

The Yellow Clay got to lumber top weight but was a Grade 1 novice, 17-2.
