Now that beuvur dair is running
Will BP handle the ground? 11/8 seems short, is irving overpriced at 7/1 he likes it soft?Anyone got an opinion on this ?
Think i would be more inclined to take a chance on irving as opposed to BP or BVD
February 1, 2017 at 18:39 #1285199Any chance of it being waterlogged?
I know Henderson used to go Oteley Hurdle with See You Then but this seems a pretty unsuitable target for Brain Power. He wants a strong pace and reasonable ground. Consequently, he appears to be on a hiding to nothing.
Would be better off going straight to the Festival.
February 1, 2017 at 19:31 #1285208What is in Brain Power’s favour is the track. His only two poorish races since going jumping have been left-handed – a worry for his CH backers of which I am one. But his last two runs suggest he is a rapidly improving animal and if that improvement has continued and the ground doesn’t anchor him, he should win on Saturday. I wouldn’t plunge just yet as it would be no surprise if NJH took him out and waited for Wincanton.

February 3, 2017 at 11:38 #1285458So Brain Power goes to Kelso or Wincanton instead, you’d imagine. Could take on Yanworth at Wincanton.
February 3, 2017 at 12:29 #1285464A forgone conclusion now or can Irving spring an upset? Fighting Fifth form looks solid and will handle conditions.
