U turn?
Find me one quote where I have said that. Don’t just make things up.
February 21, 2026 at 19:53 #1755779Have a read what Ruby Walsh says about his jumping , makes a lot of sense , err Ruby you may want to reread that last post …
Have you got a link to that?
February 21, 2026 at 19:54 #1755780Can you imagine the pressure on Henderson and Nico if he did run … Why would they want that , compared to the positive energy of last night , it’s a no brainer
February 21, 2026 at 19:56 #1755781Read green’s last post, it’s exactly they way things go with Nicky.
February 21, 2026 at 19:57 #1755782No , he also mentions it on a podcast , basically the horse has his jumping style , a certain physical muscle memory he adapts at a hurdle , he’s 9 and they are going to struggle to get him adapt , to back to Pubchestown , those first hurdles he jumped like jumping beeches brook , it’s not as if they haven’t tried before
February 21, 2026 at 19:58 #1755783“But, what will the tactics be at Cheltenham?
Hold up for sure. Probably partly why Murphy was at pains to keep him amongst horses at Southwell too. As you say, if he tries to lead something will try to get upsides to goad him him and even if they don’t, a wide open space in front of him might encourage him to let fly at them and risk getting it wrong. I think he’ll be kept under a tight hold for the first mile and a bit, then creep a bit closer, and then hope to let rip after the last and pass what’s left like he came past those Flat maidens last night.
February 21, 2026 at 19:59 #1755784We’ve got another two weeks of this to go, Ruby, or until a final decision is made. HDLG is just worried about losing all his bets on The New Lion and will be getting his knickers in a twist until the day itself.
February 21, 2026 at 19:59 #1755785Glad you’ve just spent God knows how pages arguing this with me … And still refusing to answer my closed question …
February 21, 2026 at 19:59 #1755786Yes, HDLG. The horse clearly won’t be able to erase that memory. But connections already have and that’s why they think he’ll be o0kay to run. Especially with a weaker than usual field.
February 21, 2026 at 20:01 #1755787They might as well employ Yogi Bear to sort out his jumping. He struggles to judge the white padded hurdles and tragically at Kempton today we saw some others taking off way too early with tragic consequences. Get rid of them.
February 21, 2026 at 20:01 #1755788I answered your question pages ago, HDLG.
February 21, 2026 at 20:01 #1755789Not at all Glad , I have other bets in the Champion , The Lion is my main one , are you on the hill ?

I think he layed The Hill for a place….
February 21, 2026 at 20:02 #1755791So Glad you put a 175 rating above winning 3 champion hurdles
February 21, 2026 at 20:02 #1755792If you could read and assimilate information, you would know who I have backed. I opened the Champion Hurdle 2026 thread.
February 21, 2026 at 20:04 #1755793It doesn’t matter if Just So was the opposition if he can’t jump he won’t win , are we forgetting how bad that Newcastle fall was , they were crawling and he still fell , it was plater at Hexham stuff
February 21, 2026 at 20:04 #1755794The Hill at 6s and later at 14s and also KDB at 8s….
