    Market………

The one I’m closest to backing here is Cougar, but having cashed him out for The Galway Hurdle, it seems silly to bet him early again with that other entry.

I’ll more than likely cover a Mullins horse too, but I’ll have a close look at jockey bookings first of all.

At a whopping 50’s is Dalton Highway. Has came back from his layoff looking “gone”, but they’ve still kept him at it, and no surprise if he were to suddenly sprout wings for this yard round here. Little to recommend him in recent runnings, but despite those poor recent shows, he’s one I’ll definitely be backing

Still every intention of betting at least one of that pair, but had an early go on another.

Baltic Bird looked a really promising type last year for Gosden, following his decent win at York, but dismal efforts in the likes The Queens Vase and The Old Rowley Cup, seen him leave Gosden’s for Bill Durkan.

Recent form not that inspiring, but not hopeless either, and recent run behind Party Central, was a better effort, and hampered as well.

Guaranteed a run, and at the price, I had to have an early go

Interesting that Ian Williams Zinc White is entered, and that he’s used the claimer SD Bowen for a few rides this side of the Irish Sea. I wonder..be interesting if the the young lad gets the ride. Ill have 10bobs on at the confirmed stage if they are paired up.

    I’ve a list lol

Dutch Schultz ran very well off 2lb lower last year.

Line Out if the ground stays ok is a massive price, been nibbled at.

I liked the idea of Weston, but i’m not a lover of his price antepost anyway.

Immelmann for something, but on recent years he won’t get in.

I’ve been a follower/bettor of Sheishybrid on her last two starts, she has a race of this nature in her but seems to find trouble with her run-style. She can be a slow starter, which around Galway could be goodnight nurse!

    No Weston + Sheishybrid.

Dutch Schultz at 33s is nice.

22s now about line Out is not as nice, but still big i reckon.

Taken both small, and will top up depending..

I reckon DS is supported quite heavily here- price through Lots Of Joy/Maze Runner is appealing by itself nevermind the fact i would highly doubt there’s any Echoes In Rain here.

Jack, nicely done with the 33-1. It’s Dutch Schultz for me too, and I managed to get 25-1

I also like the first reserve Nibiru. I can see him running, and I’ve bet him too at 28-1

Oh dear, I missed the fact that this is an amateur jockey race, so Zinc White has no SD Bowen, apologies..
Drawn in the car park, so not a bet.

    Dartan and HMS Seahorse e/w..

Cheers Silver, hope we are onto one!

    @Landafar
    …….that draw isn’t necessarily a bad one.

    21 and 22….first + second last year

    13/16 year before

High draws are not game over.

Topped up a wee bit on Baltic Bird, and added Cougar as well. Followed the market a wee bit with him, as I’d planned for him to be in running, if Dalton Highway sneaked in. God, don’t let Dalton Highway sneak in. Two’s enough

Thanks Jackh1092, I should do more investigation in future.
It appears since I went to bed the price crashed on Zinc White..I cant watch the race now..

    Teed up
    Figures221121-007-87702192-2
    Unbeaten on heavy here.
Filter non Galway form out and figures read 21121 over obstacles and on the level. Good prep run and ground going the right way. Draw is not an issue in this race.

Line Out has form on soft going, but i’d have preferred it not to get bottomless which i think it will be.

On Teed Up Sam, he’s short on what he’s achieved i think. Has course form, but all in all his record doesn’t suggest he’s a 100 flat horse in waiting. However that said all your above is true. Think he’s short on what he’s achieved.

Hoping Line Out will get away with the heavy ground. Only one race on the flat course beforehand so shouldn’t be too churned up.

Zink White hadn’t lost any of his old vigour after a couple of years off
when he ran away with the Plate at Chester. Ascot was thefurthest he’s gone
and he didn’t quite get home but he will be fine here over 2m1f. There seems
a fair bit of confidence about him so I’m quite happy to take 10.0 and 9.6
    on the exchange.

Zink White 10.0 and 9.6 on Betfair Exchange

    Black Hawk Eagle 25/1.

Has heavy ground win to his name. Should have won last time but made his move a fraction too early and was reeled in. The race should be run to suit his style coming from off the pace.

No strong feelings here so I’ve got my ews on two outsiders- Shajak, who had a nice spin over hurdles recently, and Magellan Strait, who is unproven on the ground but is big enough to cope with his weight and I think might turn out to be a decent stayer.
