it’s not a system…..
it’s a way of life…..and ive mention what i am looking for.
(in a nutshell "data spectrums")Take class for example….. how does a competitive claimer at Beverley compare to a poor (grade 5) handicap at Ascot.
I believe there is no neccessity to be super accurate (thank god) but useful benchmark data must be available. Without handles theres no grip.

May 14, 2008 at 05:48 #163325Hi
Flat courses can be like 5 or 6 courses in one………. they take a lot of sorting out. Anyone looked into this area?
I am quite happy with my Jumps data, (this is far more str8 forward)

Comply or Dies run at Newcastle was good evidence that he would like the AintreeGN course………..btw

I’m not sure the new fences can be described as STIFF!

May 14, 2008 at 08:01 #163337You could say they have a stiff neck for calling them fences Colin

If I am strating to get the idea here. You put all the relevant info into a spread sheet or data base press a button and it comes up with the name of a horse with the best chance on paper.
I have heard of these…. they are called favourites!!!
I hear you can get them in the racing post everyday
May 14, 2008 at 17:58 #163475Hi seabird
have they altered the Haydock fences……
I will make a point of watching some races there to see how they are riding.
cheers from
