Hi Guys.

Had a flyer from a guy calling imself Collin Davey,as anyone hurd of this guy and is opetation, is litrature makes him seem very well conected.Is there any pros out there who can varifiy is status in the betting world, is flyer seems to good to be true he uses a system to select is bets and ask you to join is private racing syndicate.He seems to have done very well for imself, be it from betting or punters subscriptions.<br>Any info would be much appreciated.

Con artist, as part of my research to become a full time investor, joined various services and relay services. About 80% of these are basically liars.

There is another site goodbet.co.uk or com can’t remember, on the feedback thread there is a lot of discussions re tipping services. You might want to have a look, have not been on there for about 6 months but this guy came up time and time again….

Hi EC and paul66.

Ive checked out goodbet, and read with intrest, this guy seems to have been about for a while peddling this crap to unsuspecting punters.<br>The trading standards seem to be on to him though, but hes still sending flyers out hoping theres a few punters that believe what hes saying.<br>Trading standards dont seem to be very quick to prosicute people like Davey, or his he that confident that he may not get caught, maybe he as some legal loophole to get out of any such things.<br>There seems to be quite alot of these people peddling there trade to unwary punters, will anything happen in the future to stop these con men, some how i dont think so.

Hi Daz, trading standards don’t prosecute people like Davey because they look at punters like gold prospectors who complain when they don’t strike gold. Davey is get-rich-quick-type con-artist who happens to be involved in horse racing .. :biggrin:

Seriously though, you should PM Paul66 your e-mail address and get in on some real profitable tips, you need look no further.

I get them by e-mail EC, because I don’t always get on here during the day. Apart from that, I want to keep in touch with what he’s up to if he ever decides to stop posting on here. I’m still in touch with quite a few that don’t come and post anymore for what ever reason. You should think about it yourself EC, it’s good to network.<br>:cool:

To be fair Mr D knows quite a bit about Horse racing. However he knows even more about marketing. If you trawl the web in depth you will find many unsuspecting souls who have lost huge amounts paying for his various systems. For some reason they are suckered into buying new systems from him even though they have lost money on their old systems. Good money chasing after bad I suppose.

His original system based on Van De wheil is pretty good but bets come up (at short prices ) about 10 time a year.

His seminars are good but you have to be a member for a year to attend (or pay a couple of grand). I was one of those guys. However, I got out after a year and didn’t lose too much money.

He did, however kindle in me an interest in horseracing which I have maintained for the past 5 years and I make a small profit each year from my own reading of form/systems. So in that sense thanks Colin.

Best advice though – bin his brochure – you will get a shiny new one next year:cool:
