Got to back my little pal Saint Sam
I sort of wish he’d been at Down Royal, would love to have seen him. In fact I think he should’ve warranted a wildcard entry in the King George. I nearly put him in my TTF but wasn’t sure if he’d be packed off to France. It’s a good race. I think Fil d’Or is a bit of value too; I liked his run in the Hilly Way last year, I think this is his trip and it’s telling that the trainer made sure to get him back, and got Robcour to buy him.
I don’t think Bronn is going to win but hope he has a nice clear round. He struck into himself on seasonal debut last year, then had the guts pulled out of him in a bog at Tramore then the same in the Theyestes and by the time he got to the Leinster National he’d had enough. I hope he has a nicer time here.

I like this horse too. I’m hoping that they keep at him during the winter, with that New Years Day Chase at Tramore a possible race for him
