I have a £2,000 overdraft which has been haunting me since I care to remember. I recently learned that as this was breached on innumerable occasions, my credit rating is as wrecked as the homes Hayley Turner acquaints herself with.
Inspired by Billion’s thread and the exponent function on my dusty scientific calculator, I figured that I can clear my overdraft if I back 57 consecutive winners at odds of 1/10 or better and I’d only need £9.31 to make this happen. As fate would have it, I have exactly £9.31 in my B365 account.
57 consecutive winners will be no mean feat but it’s not impossible. Plus, if I find a few winners with larger odds, I can clear my overdraft that bit quicker though I will be a bit shy of this.
So here goes £9.31. Just as science, philosophy and the Olympics began in Greece, so too does this remarkable journey.

I will be cheering on your selections Bachelors, some task but at a cost of £9.31 a risk worth taking, my only bit of advice would be to bank and pay off when you hit a grand and do the job in 2 as if you go down say in bet 42 you would be pretty p!ssed off.

25 minutes gone and I’m 2-0 to the good. Took some time but I managed to find a live score feed which doesn’t auto-refresh. Who’d have thought that the Glasgow Rangers of Greece would be so difficult to follow?

much. I imagine I’d be just as peeved if I went down in bet 4. Besides, I’ll need 50 winners just to reach that £1000.
Of course, if I go to 100 winners, I’d rake in £128297.50p
Probably best to stick with this initial target before I over-think my life changing plan. After all, the genius lies in its simplicity.

Optimistic indeed. Even if we hypothetically accept that B365 run 100% books, I’m still a 226/1 shot to succeed. Factor in a very generous 3% per runner overround and I’m then a 1000/1 shot so I’m under no illusions how pointless this task is
Although with your moral support, I can shave a few points off those odds
Realistically, I’ll be cooked in a day or so. Maybe sooner if there isn’t a goal in the next hour. But if I’m being completely optimistic, I’d love to use gambling to sufficiently solve my financial worries within three or four weeks.

I’m glad I ducked Barcelona as they were so awful in the CL.
Since beating Betis in August 12 games ago, Real Madrid have won their own games by two or more goals when not playing a top four side. Almería have lost 4-2 at Athletico, 6-1 at Bilbao, 4-1 at Barcelona and their last seven away games. Real also tend to leave the breaks off in games preceding Copa Del Rey matches as well as ones following Champions League fixtures. Whilst bereft of Ronaldo and Alonso, Madrid will still be formidable going forward. At 1/7, I will them an accaaccelerator until I come up with a better name.

Though I’m loathe to stray too far from the 1/10 mark, and am loathe to bet on horses, Aldopicgros looks airtight in the 4.30 at Wincanton. Ground and distance are fine, safe enough jumper, stable is in form and he has almost two stone in hand on his latest hurdles form and is still ahead on his worst. If I had to have a slight niggle (apart from a rag carrying him out), it would be that today will be his seventh run in as many months. However, Paul Nicholls did state after his Newbury win that "there are plenty of options for him before the end of the season" which would indicate that todays outing isn’t a rushed afterthought or a run for the sake of a run.

57.In a case of alcohol induced FA cup romantacism and lack of quantifiable foresight, I have given in to temptation. I’ve given Sheffied Utd a third goal in their tie against Hull solely on the basis that Sheffield is my third favourite Northern city behind Manchester and Liverpool.
