Editeur Du Gite a horse I really like, and I’m hoping he can advertise his Champion Chase credentials here.
Possibly better performance at Kempton than some realised, and I think 11’s is just a bit generous.
Edit – Topped up 12’s
Editeur Du Gite 12’s EW
January 27, 2023 at 23:10 #1632451Not really a betting race, but I couldn’t resist to place a small EW bet on Amarillo Sky. I thought he was quite impressive this season so far.
Amarillo Sky 50/1 EW
January 28, 2023 at 11:40 #1632533As good as the Mullins horse is I’ll have to get a bit on Edwardstone if he hits 3’s

January 28, 2023 at 12:04 #1632544For me, Edwardstone’s Tingle Creek form is as good as anything Energumene’s ever done in its life.
Could be a cracker.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 28, 2023 at 13:13 #1632554Correct Ian.
Alan King is running head on into a showdown with the Mullins horse and that tells me everything I need to know!
January 28, 2023 at 13:17 #1632556Hope so I’m on Edwardstone at 16s for the Champion Chase
The Mullins horse is a bit of a monster though.
looking forward to thisCharles Darwin to conquer the World
January 28, 2023 at 13:26 #1632560Well done again VtC!
January 28, 2023 at 13:26 #1632561Bobby does it again

Proper 2 mile chase that
January 28, 2023 at 13:27 #1632562Jesus VtC what a shout, the Mullins horse looked beat to me regardless of the mistake at the last.
What a race!
January 28, 2023 at 13:27 #1632563Bobby your on fire , what a tough horse , Engermene never looked to happy
January 28, 2023 at 13:27 #1632564I’ve said it all along. And commiserations to those who backed the fav but he’s been over rated from day one.
The difference between the winner and the 2nd is a better ride. I’d be on Edwardstone for the champion chase still.
January 28, 2023 at 13:29 #1632565Well done Bobby..
Editeur Du Gite fought back well there
Did Cannon think he had it won when put his head in front
I’d have to watch it again
great raceCharles Darwin to conquer the World
January 28, 2023 at 13:30 #1632566I thought the runner-up dogged it a bit. Credit to EDG but you’d want to see Edwardstone running away from him when he hits the front. Champion chase market blown wide open.
January 28, 2023 at 13:30 #1632567VTC’s on absolute fire!! WD

I have a NRNB on Editeur for the Champion Chase at 25s, so well chuffed, even though i didnt back the horse today.
January 28, 2023 at 13:30 #1632568Great effort by the winner under a good ride and well done VTC.
Edwardstone had to use up too much energy to get there and then flattened out.
Disagree about Energumene never looking happy. To my mind he travelled and jumped well until after the second last but did not pick up.
January 28, 2023 at 13:34 #1632570CAS he got the last all wrong but I never thought he was to happy , I just hope he he didn’t hurt himself , poss he jarred himself
January 28, 2023 at 13:42 #1632580Is it possible with hindsight much like what happened with Altior and Cyrname that Shishkin and Enurgemene have bottomed each other out? Seems a strange thing to say about a subsequent dual grade 1 winner but that Champion Chase form is rank and the Punchestown form looks pretty rank too if Chacun is gone at the game.
